DUBLIN’S HARDEST GRAVEL ROUTE? SPECILAIZED IRELAND GRAVEL RIDE

Another day trying my hand at gravel riding. This time on the Specialized gravel bike the Cleo SL which was electric. To make it a bit harder i tried not to use it on one of Dublins best gravel routes for sure.

Before we get into the cycle, I just had to show you cuz [Music] The kit is as the kit is gorgeous. I’ve been looking at map kit for a long time. Always saying to Deborah, “Oh, I’d love to get it.” And then she asked to get me one. Buzzing. Can’t wait to try it. Quoting have asked for better. Got me map gear me Nigel Sylvester Air Jordans as what a mission to get them. Pancave is coming together as well. Few bits to do over the winter, but it’s finally uh getting there. All right, let’s get up to Specialize. Get into the gravel ride. See how that goes. It’s epic, lads. This is one of the best rides I’ve ever done. Definitely worth a watch. So, I’m on a Specialized Cleo SL. It’s the electric bike. So, I’m going to try to set myself the challenge of not using the electric on this spin, but she’s a bit of a lump. We’ll see how we get on. So, we going 20k. 20k is not the same as 20k in the road lads. Feel like I’ve done about 60. Sweat is absolutely dripping off me. Still haven’t used the electric full battery on her. [Music] [Music] Love it. Absolutely love it. That was amazing. going through the woods. I loved every second of that. I don’t know if you call that gravel riding, but that was class. I came up on this gravel ride because I want to get into gravel riding. I want to do a bit of cycle cross cuz next week we’re going up at the shop. Specializ are supporting the Gway gravel grinder. So, we’re up to Gway next week. Two weeks later, we’re up to Lakeland gravel grinder up for mana. make sure we have the GRA and hopefully we might get a few cycle cross races in during the winter. So, I am up here today to learn. Try to get me bike handling skills on a gravel a bit better cuz I tell you, if you think you have fun on a road bike, wait till you get on a gravel bike. I still can’t get over coming on that thing. I’m saying it now. Gravel is the most fun you’ll have on a bike. I wanted to test myself today. Get me bike handling a bit better on the gravel. The word epic gets thrown around way too easily these days by lads. That was epic. That route. Unbelievable. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into coming up today, but with expectations blown out of war. One of the girls, her second time doing it, absolutely got her money. She said, “Well, that’s a cracking thing.” with these shop rides. If you haven’t done gravel or road before, you just fancy trying on the bike, give them a sh, book a bike, jump on the spin, you get to test, test the bikes, savage routes, the boys know exactly where they’re going. Finish the ride with coffee and donuts. Just what we’re getting back to right now. That’s how Specialized the bike ride. [Music] Get up first and you have top selection. [Music] An absolute cracking ride. Loved it. I’m sure I said that 100 times already, but I loved it. Don’t want to have the stats from the rider. The ru didn’t bring me garment. And I’m cycling on a shop bike. I don’t bring wine up because I’ve left it here before. So, it’s just easier. Leave the garment at home. One of the boys are going to add me to it. So, when I have it, I’ll throw it up. Need to get myself a crux, lads. Travelers. Maybe a bit of cycle cross racing this year. But now, we need to get changed. Get home.
