I have a 2021 Trek Slash 8 with a SRAM GX Eagle derailleur. I recently had some issues with a loose rear axle and when I fixed it (needed to replace the free hub rapid drive) and when I reinstalled the rear wheel and engage the pedals, I’m getting a clicking noise that sounds like the chain is rubbing (see video). The sound seems to be coming from the area near the small pulley (upper jockey wheel). The sound is more pronounced on the largest cog, but I also hear it on all others too. Do I need a chain gap adjustment? Do I need to check the derailleur alignment with an adjustment gauge? Is there something else that could be going on? Any advice would be much appreciated – thanks!
