Join us on an unforgettable adventure through Italy! 🇮🇹 We kicked things off with some surf vibes in San Clemente before flying to Rome, where we explored the Colosseum, Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, and so much more of this historic city.
From there, we traveled just an hour out of Rome to Gracciano to celebrate our friends — pro surfer Leo Wilson and model Sophie — as they tied the knot in a stunning castle. 🏰💍
The next day, we hopped on a train north to Bolzano and then drove two hours to San Candido, the gateway to the Dolomites. The Dolomites completely blew us away — from hiking around the iconic Tre Cime, to breathtaking lakes, to a 38-mile (62 km) bike loop through some of the most pristine and magical landscapes we’ve ever seen. 🚴♂️🏞️
If you’re dreaming of Italy, this trip has it all: history, adventure, epic scenery, and unforgettable moments. Don’t miss it!

What’s up everybody? Welcome back to the vlog. We are about to go on a vacation actually to Italy. No surfboards. I’m so excited to travel without a board bag. But first, we’re going to go surf. We’re going to get in the water before we go to the airport, before we go to Italy, and don’t surf for a long time. So, I’m going to go grab a board and load up the bike and get some waves. The sun is shining. There’s been fun waves actually lately. There’s been so much south swell and the water’s been so warm. Honestly, I think this is the best time of year, like early fall. Um, so yeah, we’re going to we’re going to load up and get some waves. And I think this is the board I’m riding at the moment. I’ve been riding this board a lot actually. I think uh offseason I’ve had time to try a couple boards, different boards, and I’m going to keep trying a few more. So, out off we go. Come along. [Music] Getting drunk from 73 flashlight is free. We’re on the machine. [Music] I just need some more. I’m going to just want to feel good. All that’s left somewhere in your chest or your sweetheart here to miss. Uh oh. [Music] Uh oh. Heat [Applause] up here. Okay, just got back from the surf. It was pretty fun. Um, and yeah, now we’re going to finish packing up. We’re going to Italy. We’re going for our friend Lao’s wedding and Sophie Lao’s on tour. Sophie is the best. She’s a model. She has a really rad clothing brand and um yeah, she’s the best. So, we’re going over there to celebrate their wedding, Italian wedding. I have high expectations for this wedding. So, we’ll see what happens. But we’re going to bring you guys along. We’re also going to go to Rome and we’re going to go somewhere I’ve always wanted to go, the Dolommites after the wedding. So, um, yeah, it’s going to be fun. Probably a slightly different vlog, but hopefully entertaining for you guys. So, let’s get on the big bird in Rome. We just arrived. It’s raining today, but then it’s going to be sunny after today. So, we are driving into the city with our guy Maximo. Jet lag was legit. So, we found a coffee and a croissant and reset for the days to come. [Music] We’re at the coliseum. Tom just Googled. Maximus Desimus was real or not. I thought he was. My name is Maximus. Desimus Meridius. It makes sense that they make a gladiator movie on a real was some form of kind of lame they didn’t. They should have used it. Maximus is a correct name. We’re still calling our dog Maximus one day. Yep. You’re about to go in. The floor apparently used to be sand and flat until one emperor decided to change it and put like crocodiles, elephants, gladiators, and everything down the bottom. And they used to use wooden platforms to just rise everything through the ground. Yeah, pretty cool. Very cool. The coliseum, Rome’s ultimate stage. From wild animals being released from hidden trap doors to mock sea battles flooding the arena floor, this was entertainment at an empire’s scale. Nothing in the ancient world matched it. Leaving Rome’s ancient stone behind, we head just an hour out to Braniano, where history gives way to something more intimate. A castle on the hill. And the reason we’re here, celebrating Lao and Sofh’s wedding in a place that feels nothing short of magical. My goodness gracious. Look at this. Wow. What a Okay, little video for the Instagram. Nice. [Applause] This was honestly one of the most fun nights we’ve had in a while. Well done to the newlyweds. We love you guys and a huge congrats. From Rome Termini, the train pulls us north, leaving the city’s buzz behind for rolling hills, vineyards, and villages scattered across the beautiful Italian countryside. Hour by hour, the landscape transforms, mountains rising in the horizon. We arrive in Balzano, where the road calls us onward. A two-hour drive to San Canadino, the gateway to the Dolommites, where the journey shifts from beautiful to truly breathtaking. We’re hiking in the Dolommites to I don’t know how to pronounce it. You can’t pronounce or something. The Three Peaks. Yeah, the Three Peaks, which is kind of the most famous area to hike here. So, that’s cool. 18Ks today. That’s what we’re doing. got old for it cuz our knees after yesterday were pretty [Music] trust it or not to trust it. [Music] Open closing both of these eyes. There’s always a prophet, always a wide, a far away point, a fragment of light. Catching lost in my mind. [Music] Wow. So, we just circled the 3 or something. Yeah. We parked right down there. Parked down there. Walked up. looped around the inside of Dallas and then now we’re going to loop back 18ks. Rising above all the Trey Chim, the three peaks of the Dolommites standing like a giant stone sentinels carved by time itself. Their jagged walls once marked by front lines of World War I. Yet today, they’re a monument of pure and natural beauty. Around them, the Dolommites unfold in sweeping ridge lines, crystal lakes reflecting skylike tones, and trails that lead into some of the most beautiful and untouched land in all of Europe. Here you find waters so clear they feel unreal, and air free from the weight of pollution. Landscape that shifts with every single turn of the path. Whether you’re chasing the silence of alpine valleys or challenging the mountain hikes, this place is more than scenery. It’s a world you carry with you. For anyone traveling to Italy, the Dolommites could not be more highly recommended. Honestly, it’s one of the most magical places you’ll ever see. Oh. Oh, this is the nice one. Found some friends. He’s sussing you out. You guys are tired as well. Yeah. Day two took us into the Dolommites, but on two wheels this time. A stunning 62 km loop, which is about 38 miles. Starting from San Candido and climbing deep into the valley, the ride carried us past alpine lakes and their grassy surfaces, catching the first light of the sunrise. Metlands rose all around, every turn, revealing another view more breathtaking than the last. It was an unforgettable way to feel the Dolommites in motion. We are on the ebikes today and we just watched the sun come up over this mountain. It was like the coolest thing ever. Is the a shading. No, it’s just to enhance like you get to see way more. I think that’s what’s so cool about it. [Music] No matter where you are, you stumble upon the most charming little cottages. Familyrun fresh meals from the garden, cappuccinos better than anywhere else, and dishes you can’t even pronounce, but you’ll never forget. Homemade blueberry spritz from the farm is absolutely phenomenal. Enjoying the views. Lunch was done and bellies were more than full, so it was time to get back on the trip. [Music] Italy stole our hearts with every turn. From timeless Rome to the breathtaking Dolommites, every moment felt like a story. We’re definitely excited to get home back into the ocean and bring you guys more great content soon.

Next time call me up to join you on a hike & ride around the Tre Cime, when you will plan on wandering pretty close to my homeplace in Austria. I am brimming with envy & joyful melancholy at the same time watching your amazingly golden autumnal footage. I promise to provide a posh looking dirndl, some sleazy lederhosen & an alpine cowbell to make you feel more like real locals . . .
The black fiat (egg shell/cream color) at the wedding was the same as my girlfriend’s in high school and college. Unreal scenery. Safe travels…
Yeah Lakey!! That´s fun times, europe is always amazing!!
