I currently ride a Norco Bigfoot as you can see. I love my fatbike, more so than my Norco Fluid 3. I am 50 with some minor iron deficiency and I find it takes more effort to ride compared to a few years ago. I rode a Trek Rail 8 (8 iirc) in BC recently and it was my first experience on an e-bike going uphill for downhill runs. I was amazed with it and concluded I need an e-bike. But I rather an e-fatbike. Anyway, I have been looking at the Moose Manic 2 and Giant Yukon E+. The Norco is expensive where you have to buy the battery separately. The Rocky Mountain is much cheaper but it doesn't look solid and the routing of the chain through the motor housing looks iffy imo. I'm leaning towards the Giant as it's available in XL, the motor has a good rep, decent size battery, has a dropper and front suspension. I think I can get it for $5800CAD+tax. I never thought I would ever consider a bike this expensive but I feel I could get a lot of riding + go the distance on it. I guess my question is are you getting what you pay for?
