How’s your season been so far? It’s good. Uh I’m in the overall ranking in the third place. So would be cool to to stay on the podium until Qatar strongest on a bike and I think there can hurt the others the most. Uh yes, I would say mostly flat course. Just a small hill with uh yeah it’s it’s it’s it looks like false flat that you think it’s flat but it’s a little bit hillier but I think it’s good for high walls. So maybe I can do some damage here. And yeah, but for sure the most important part is then that I have a good run and try and step out a good step in the right direction. And now it’s yeah, two weeks of a good rain block at home, not an agent anymore. So I think I feel a yeah, the curve is going upwards. The heat is always a yeah, a little bit difficult for me. Uh we drain a little bit now. Uh but yeah, here it could be very hot. I can’t say. Yeah, I’m absolutely uh the best in the heat. So, let’s see how this turns out. My first T 100 race. So, I’m really excited and if I hope it works here also good. It’s family race. Yeah, that’s also nice that they can race again with Rico on the same weekend because a long time we we did it in short distance used to be travel to competitions together and yeah then I started earlier with the middle stand and then he got two kids and now we are both on the middle stands. So, it’s cool to be in the highest league of the Middle Sense now. Uh, and uh, yeah, competing here. I think we are we the first ones for our siblings in the T 100. I think so, but I’m not not 100% sure. Uh, let the ball like one more time. Um, it’s a long time for me as well, but like in the surf it’s not allowed to to bounce and get the fence, only the the walls, like the the glass walls. Um, yeah, rules there are not it’s it’s not it’s not so uh so difficult like when you hit like this, it’s it’s in and you can play through. If you hit the fence like this, it’s out. Fish warmed up Thursday. Let’s go. You can go. [Music] Oh, aggressive. You just sat down. You knew it was going out. [Music] Smash. Smash. Smash. Oh. That’s disappointing. Oh, Hannah with the big hit. return nicely. Oh, we got a good little rally going on here. Oh, stay on the triathon course. [Music] Got it. Had sh now. Now. No. Front. You go back. No. It doesn’t work like that. I think we’re pretty terrible to be honest. And myself included. Uh I’ll give us about a three out of 10 I reckon. Second try. Most difficult part. See that the wheel is straight. But all the technology makes it difficult. Or is it a a good way to see if it’s straight? Yeah. Oh, you’ve got something or what? A laser. I have laser. So, I have to buy a laser. Wow. [Music] That’s like Yeah, that’s like there. So, can you So, can I roll it back and then you tighten? No, I’ve cut it. Oh, yeah. Now I do it and then I lose it and then I make it. Yeah. No, it’s that way that you have to do it. First this one, then those two bolts now loosen it and then Yeah. So, but now I can make this faster. Yeah. Don’t lose this one now. No, don’t take this out. This compresses the forks. Oh, the And then this one. These tighten up. So, but you can already do I can do it. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz if you line up with the bolts there, see down the there. Whoa. And then you can, you know, you see what I mean? It’s coming through the middle. It’s just the phone is slightly free lessons. I have to be honest, last week was my first week painfree. So, but yeah, at the end it’s 3 months since they found out I had the stress flexures. So, theoretically now, my body should be okay again. But I’m feeling much better in the head now because if you’re like now one week painfree, your body gives good signs that you’re getting back to the usual fitness because yeah before the starting fue if you’re still like feeling like the muscles are not happy then it’s not good for mentally for uh but then the fun thing was if you can run a little bit with yellow you’ve got something like okay I can run 3 km with yellow the race pays for winning the race but yeah it’s still 18 km of course but you are helping Gella run supporting for the country. Yeah, it was on that moment you see him running and you think like okay yeah why not? But at the end I also would do it for for Hayden because he’s half Belgian. So no but it was like yeah I saw him behind me and I was like why not? And uh yeah what did he say to you afterwards? Yeah, he appreciated it. But uh yeah, this weekend I will race for myself of course, but uh I there was no intention in Fu uh for doing that. But yeah, the course made it like I came on the course and it was like ah Aiden is there, Yelen is there, why not help? And there was a lot of wind. So but uh yeah, at the end he want to run in front. So good. Ready to roll. [Applause] I really like the course. It’s It’s a hiking course. You guys should call it T100 world tours X gigaber bike course like yeah I can’t compete him with my chicken legs but I kind of needed that break from racing a little bit after London and the first four stages of the tour but now I’m like when you start missing racing ing. When you see the guys racing in Fruit, that’s a good sign, you know, kind of means you’re still fresh and wanting to like, yeah, give it a go. Sometimes it’s better to do a a little bit break of racing to kind of maintain fitness, strength, and as well to perform even in Qatar because it’s still a long way. Uh I came in the tour with a bang but there was not much after burn after that. So this year I I swapped team I work with a different pose different approach and the goal is to uh to just be consistent now and just get it’s better to get a four and a couple of sevens than the win and a 10. So, uh, maybe because I haven’t lifted the tape yet. I don’t know. It doesn’t look like it’s a great season, but actually, I think the tour is more competitive this year, and I still feel that I perform towards uh my potential. I just didn’t had always the luck on my side with my bike in San Fran and getting sick before London. But so far so good this week. So let’s see if I can compete with the top. I think Hayden and Yellow will be too far, but who knows? I think it’s going to be pretty fast out here and hot. [Music] They actually fit perfect for my nose. John always says I should wear kids sunglasses, don’t you? Right. Really thin head because these are too big to see. Right. Come on. Let’s go. I’ve been working. Yeah. Right. Are we looking for cars? There is one, but if we’re quick, we’ll get over go. Quick, quick, quick, quick, quick. Come on. Come on. Not very quick. Where are the waves? Let’s join the uh old pensioners. How long are you doing? Half an hour, 40 minutes. Yeah, I forgot my watch. So, mine I brought mine. Otherwise, we’ll be out in 2 minutes. And I did bring my swimsuit cuz I was worried I wasn’t he injured your car? I did many times actually this year. How’s How’s that going? It’s been fine. Yeah. Since um God, I can’t even remember what race it was now. After Vancouver, I came home and it went again. So since Frau and onwards, it’s been good. So I’ve been running and I’ve done a few sessions. So yeah. How did Fu go? Talk me through that. Fred basically just didn’t sleep that week really and then at all the night before and well it was worse because we were getting up at 4. So then yeah, he he didn’t sleep. So I did an all nighter and then I thought I’d be all right, but I really won’t. So yeah, I’ve not done many DNFs in my life, but that was one of them. So

I just analyzed the tape, Hayden's padel was 15mm longer than everyone else's.
Don’t know why T100 lets lapped athletes assist. If the race was closer, it can become a problem.
Where is Taylor Knibb??
where's mr. smith?
Pointer: if you want it straight, get a laser marker so is always right
Don't get why you would ever interview an athlete while they are training. Some of them can be hard enough to understand in the first place – or maybe my ears are just fu@ked up.
