[Music] We just cycled the Pedis Way which combined with the Norfolk Coast Path makes one of the 16 officially recognized national trails in England and Wales. The 46 milei route starts from Letteraw Heath and ends at home next to sea. It’s also the final section of the Great Chalk Way, an ancient coast to coast trading route starting in Lime Ranges. Terrain is mixed with several road sections through lovely woodland, heath, and fields, but it’s mostly off-road on sandy or grally tracks, often littered with broken flints, which gave us a lovely impromptu break to fix two punctures at one point. Norfolk is a relatively flat county, but there were some decent hilly sections that were pretty hard work at times. Also, some very cool ancient ruins worth stopping to explore. We did it in two days with an overnight stay at a hotel halfway. Overall, a really fun ride that wasn’t too challenging, but still left us with a sense of achievement. Which national trail do you think we should do next? [Music]
