We’ve done 14 ks. Yeah. So, we’ve got about 39 ks to ride. Valet. Cool. I tried I tried to say valet there for some reason. We cycle for an hour. Yeah. Because you’ve been wanting to stop for photos. Obviously. So, now we need to make Yeah. You’re spending all this time videoing. Live in the [Music] [Music] [Music] place is unbelievable. [Music] Hello sweet Jesus. Oh yes. [Music] Hey team, what’s going on? Welcome to this video coming to you from not so sunny Morca and I’m also referring to Morca as uh Maji Hora or Malora um when my inner American tourist comes out. But for now, welcome to Morca. As you can see, I got a whip for the next couple of days. So, I’m gonna do some riding and hopefully we’re going to do some cycling on the north side of the island as well up towards uh Sakalobra and Cap Fmentor. Um yeah, just like insane climbs by the sounds of it. and I want to check those out, but I just want to also just coordinate with my better half, make sure that uh I’m prioritizing our holiday plans before signing myself into any more expensive bike rental decisions. But for now, yeah, really excited to get some riding done and can’t wait to take you on the journey with me. [Music] Good morning. Oh, funny start to the morning this morning. It’s like pitch black and it’s 7:00 in the morning. So, yeah, changing time zones. You don’t um you don’t expect all this stuff, do you? But um yeah, I’ve just been moping around for like an hour. So I need to get out now. I need to get out. So got the red rocket over there. I’ve got me bike lights with me. So even though it is a little bit dark, just need to get going. You know that feeling when you just need to get going? [Music] Bit windy. Okay, I’m off the beaten track. Well, prior to getting onto this road, was having a bit of a moan to myself because my Garmin or my sorry, my wahoo wasn’t playing ball. was a bit wet and I was just like, well, it’s funny reflecting on it now cuz you got absolutely nothing to moan about. I’m in Morca riding my bike and uh I I never would have found a road like this had it not been for the GPX file that I downloaded from Morca Cycling Centers website. But yeah, once once this tech gets working, onesie wahoo starts playing ball. Like I didn’t bring my wahoo last time I came to Europe and it was just a pain in the ass cycling around your owner trying to follow your nose and maps. Um, so it is a bit of a blessing to be fair. Anyway, see that blue? It’s going to be a goodie. [Music] Lovely chap called Jav tried helping me out with my saddle height and it’s just this thing’s locked into place. I don’t know if seat posts are funny and I think this one’s carbon so I don’t really want to fuff around with it too much but yeah interesting start to the ride. Thanks Jav for your help. I said to him, “Migustaria Sakalobra.” And he said, “Good on you, lad.” Uh, no, he didn’t speak any English. But yeah, I have I have finally accepted that I’m doing this ride at this saddle height. And I’m probably being anal, to be honest. What does everyone think? I’ve just I’ve just got really long legs and a tiny little body and uh yeah, I probably jacked my seat up too much anyway to be honest. But anyway, [Music] hello Bloody hell. [Music] What the hell? Oh my lord. Insane. Oh, baby. Wow, this is uh even more stunning than I thought it’d be. Look at these goats. Literal mountain goats. [Music] Oh, yes. [Music] [Music] just turned off at a really beautiful looking spot, coffee spot, which I’ll check into on the way back. But, uh, yeah, heading up to Sakalobra now. Scenery now is just [Music] becoming insane. It’s just other worldly actually. Never seen scenery like it. [Music] Oh my word. [Applause] [Music] That is a stunning. [Music] Look at that. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Yeah, that is the turning point for me. I think I’ve uh seen some good stuff. my first ride in Morca. And now I need to get back because I need to get to the airport to pick up my better half, which I can’t wait for. Haven’t seen it for 3 weeks. Um, but yeah, make sure I get down safely. But yeah, what a view. What an iconic scene. [Music] [Music] [Music] So that Oh, okay. Wow. Wow. I’ve never seen so many cyclists. It’s crazy. [Music] But uh yesterday it was a little rainy. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Today is going to be a popular one. But okay, this is very funny cuz this day has gone very rogue and we’re now back in Balma. Uh, we just got a 40minute Uber because Sarah doesn’t want to ride the bike tomorrow without bibs, which is so fair, but she has definitely driven this mission to come back to all the cycling shops in Palma. You got um Rafa there looking at Tan Line, which is a store that we’ve just gone in, which is really, really cool. Um, brand that I’m not aware of, but yeah, looks sick. She’s currently in Cafe Dicklist. Um, so yeah, hopefully we pick up some bibs and yeah, we’re gonna be riding together tomorrow. So yeah, dinner in Balma. Let’s have a look in Rafa. Look at these factors. They are sick. Fire fleet. Unreal. They are beautiful. very small. I’ll do it once you start riding. Okay. Good morning all. Here we are Port Doya. We are kicking off our Valvosa loop. So going to do about 50ks with Sarah today and then I’m going to rip in and do some do some climbing. But look at that scenery to get started. It is something else around here. It really is. Sarah’s absolutely flying on this thing. She’s activated turbo mode. So, probably doing like 300 W here. Sarah’s leading us out. She’s giving me a tow. [Music] Okay, I’m calling it. This is the most beautiful road I think I’ve ever ridden. This is absolutely insane. Going into DEA now. Wow. Wow. [Music] Bloody hell. This is insane. [Applause] [Music] We have reached the beautiful town of Dea, which was one of Sarah’s intended spots. Just cuz it had a cute restaurant here. Yeah. Well, we’re not going to go to the restaurant, unfortunately. But hey, we could This place is unbelievable. Um, yeah, absolutely gorgeous. So, uh, we’ve got about what, 40ks to ride now. This loop, um, I actually don’t know. Let’s have a look. We have done. We’ve done 14 ks. Yeah. So, we’ve got about 39 ks to ride. Cool. I tried I tried to say valet there for some reason. We cycle for an hour. Yeah, because you’ve been wanting to stop for photos, obviously. So, now we need to make Yeah, you’re spending all this time videoing. [Music] [Music] [Music] Sarah’s dropped you like a sack of [Â __Â ] Look at her having a great old time. She’s taking a piss. Nah. So good to see her having a good time and so lovely to be having this experience with her. I feel like so often I selfishly insist on having to, you know, ride my bike and get the training done for these challenges. It’s a very solo pursuit. But Sarah does love her cycling. It’s just this kind of ride. It’s uh incredibly beautiful and varied in its gradients. and parkour. So, it’s not suitable on a normal bike for Sarah. But yeah, if anyone else wants to cycle with a partner who isn’t as much into their cycling, cycling with an ebike is a really great option. These bikes are both Biankey’s from Bike The Way in Mayora. They’ve been really kind with the service they’ve given us already. And what an amazing experience so far. My bum sore. Your bum sore. My bum’s really sore. Oh no. We’ve had our Red Bulls and Sarah’s off. She’s doing the climbs quicker because she wants to get them over and done with. Nice for some. Although I’m not in any rush. I want to enjoy every minute of this. There’s a goat. There’s a goat. Oh my god, there’s so many. So, we’re currently on cold soy and there’s just switchbacks for days. I reckon I could do sackra on this thing. You reckon? Yeah. Well, you want to do it today? No. You sure? Tomorrow. Tomorrow? Okay. Sakalobra tomorrow. See you there. I can go faster. [Laughter] Watch out for these holes. Nice work. Nice work. [Music] hitting some efforts at these climbs. I don’t think Sarah realizes cuz she’s cruising. But it’s great. It’s great training cuz I’m just absolutely sending it behind her. Um so yeah, we just had a big lunch so we fueled up and now I’m feeling feeling good. There’s a sheep up there. There is a sheep on the road, but we’ll we’ll figure that one out. But yeah, look at the scenery. Bloody hell. Unbelievable. All right, so probably going to do another 30ks now together and we’ll chat soon. Yeah. [Music] [Music] Hey, hey, hey. All righty. Just dropped Sarah off and I reckon I’ve got 3 and 1/2 hours try and get up and down Sakalobra. So having a bit of a send to get there. I think it’s at least 10ks of climbing to the top and then hopefully it’s just back down and then back up. But let’s see how we go. [Music] That’s a big rock. [Music] Heat. Heat. Hello. Sweet. [Music] Coming up on 100ks. I was like, I really wanted a lot more today. I wanted like 130, but just realized I’ve done 2200 elevation, which is no joke over 90ks. So, it’s been a really, really good ride for my training. And hopefully I can just sneak in another 40ks whilst we’re in So, yeah. But who cares when it all looks like this stunning heat? [Music] Heat. Heat.

Yesssssss more cycling content haha
Ill be in Spain in November, going to spend a few days in Mallorca. This video made me even more keen
I thought Girona was bad when it comes to the amount of cyclists but that is ridiculous, no wonder the locals are pissed. Had to find anywhere quiet but I can see why it's so popular.
Guessing that caption at the end of your video suggests that not all of them were respectful in the way you were.
You still there brother?
Will be reaching Mallorca on the 10th/Oct
Let me know if you will still be around
Cheers
