Broke a spoke, can I use one from another wheel? same size and era wheel.

I have that old cracked rm wheel laying around, can I just pop one spoke off this same era brand wheel and use it to replace this one?

Is it as long as it tensions the wheel and doesn't protrude in the hub, it's ok? correct?

Is this ok? Or is there other issues I should concern myself with?
