protesters [Music] yo so here we are at westminster abbey um big ben last time i was here i was parked on the bridge managing a team for tall britain so there you go packed with the national mantle here where’s the crowds the crowds hey [Music] good morning from kent i’m here at mark pogginson’s house his wife becky and his daughters they’re at school at the moment that’s the gardener cutting the lawn he’s got a couple of acres and a nice tennis court i can play on want to today but uh yeah today’s all about doing jobs so um cleaning the bike all my washing’s getting done um i got an interview with southport radio station today on the telephone it’s good i’m promoting my page today which is the men’s prostate cancer charity um some of you are asking what’s doing it for charity which i wasn’t originally i was going to wait my world trip if i do that but since we’re doing it let’s raise a bit of money for the charity uh if we do a pound a mile i’m hopefully riding 1600 miles between southport london paris madrid and then lisbon so you like to give that’d be great and what would be nice if we can give a little bit now to london give a bit more paris a bit more madrid at each city just give five pound ten pound i know we’ve got a lot of rich customers out there and a lot of rich friends you could pay 60 hundred pound no problem straight away but let’s not do that let’s just raise a little bit as in when you know a price of a cup of coffee and a cake whatever you want to give or meal or bottle of wine that same equivalent just give whenever you’re happy and whenever you want to honestly don’t think of nothing whatsoever i want you to enjoy my page and my adventure daily uh that sound that’s all i want to do but like i say we can raise a bit of money for cancer i’ve lost a few friends to men’s cancer i lost my mum a couple years ago to cancer and affects everybody in the world not just in britain but everywhere people lose friends and family and loved ones to cancer so yeah if we can do a bit it’s great okay but uh today’s all about rest for myself uh tomorrow i carry on down to dover and then we’ll stay there tonight and then get the boat the next day and then heading to france party view francais schumer pal christoph i know a little friends but and a little bit of spanish but we’re safe so um yeah all’s going well back’s a bit stiff now uh the outskirts from the eiffel tower i’m not always being too bad i’m busy i’m in paris 600 miles from southport to paris in two weeks a few days after [Music] downtown paris they are patreon [Music] [Music] there you go i am now in paris [Music] so here i am right by the eiffel tower they should go know where to stay always bring my bell and i’m happy so there you go all good [Music] [Music] so here i am in bordeaux another arch all these citizens have arches yeah that’s a long day nearly nine hours 148 kilometers through fields forests god knows what else saw two deers that was okay and i met the two friends lads which is nice so yeah all good so luckily i’ve got a flat or someone’s house tonight so i’ll just hope this could be really nice and uh yeah i’m gonna rest up for two or three days and wait for my debit card to arrive it’s not like england yet so god knows but we’ll look look into that tonight okay so another city done so please give you can to men’s prostate cancer the bordeaux all your chanels and fashion labels it’s really very chelsea very nice i love it it’s not all about the bikes [Music] beautiful so i’m just here at the uh cathedral of bordeaux i’ve got a lot that came here when i first rolled in this one [Music] google maps for you so hot well i’m on a canisius adventure bike so why not have an adventure hour and a half of this you know what i’m in the mood for trying when we’re doing it i don’t know how there’s no traffic though uh or hunt wheels and kinesis bike i don’t know the words [Music] me [Applause] [Music] so i’m back on this rubbish again but looks like there’s a village ahead thank goodness [Music] so i’ve had to knock on this door here get some water there’s about the 12 village i’ve been through there’s been no shops no cafes no nothing also is quiet down to half a bottle so i thought you know what i’m going to stop and bang someone’s door and it’s very nice little sheet here so uh yeah [Music] [Music] tell me [Music] tell me [Music] [Music] bonjour so that’s it i’m in bay ritz i’m just two and a half hours away from spain and san sebastian so that’s french done so london’s gone paris is done bordeaux’s done and now france is done and now across over the french pyrenees of the next few days into spain and the spanish countryside which will be tough and mountainous so uh we’ll see what happens there this could be fun so the beach but yeah this is spain time for uh coffee voila ciao so we’re out of san sebastian now about an hour and a half up the road it’s an omelette this morning on a baguette it’s beautiful and then yeah coffee cone and she’s a lot better get more nice okay let’s carry on using ciao [Music] quite a bit quiet has just come out of another big town to the valley floor which is nice on this river it’s like this all the way to uh madrid it’ll be great [Music] so that’s where all my wood is those are playing [Music] hey uh lights over this voila to do six kilometers half an hour some dinner i need it [Music] on the lawn here hopefully today [Music] it’s steep there’s a good descent over side look at the valley this [Music] yeah so some of this route i’m doing through spain is the pilgrim walk it’s quite a christian walk from place of place i don’t know the exact route and towns that you’ll go to but i saw four of them walking this morning at the shelves on the back of the rucksack so you know they’re doing a program walk and uh yeah it’s really cool i mean i’m a christian myself like so uh but yeah it’s all good easter though my uh pilgrims i’m a bike from country to country so uh got to have some faith in life and mine’s up there and he looks after me most of the time he does i do question him sometimes but yeah we all need faith in our life whatever relation you are so uh i’m not talking about religion today but some someone makes all this and it’s not all man it’s uh something bigger than man that’s what i believe anyway anyway but this man’s gonna get up these hills and get riding all right let’s keep going well i’m stopping a bit more today and taking some photographs i’m trying to keep relaxed and enjoy my ride and what it’s all about but it’s just let’s put the lights on i got a long tunnel 270 meters long that’s quite a fair way it’s a spotlight on so my lexus lights thanks to upgrade and kinesis as i put them on okay the camera there it says red for stop and then it comes on green and all the lights come on for you some kind man or woman will see you waiting at the lights and turns the lights on for you um [Music] [Applause] [Music] where’s the fish man [Music] so the whole village has come out for the uh the fish [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] well that was nice in the village that was proper spanish village life where the fish man comes around and they just awkw about the houses dead before and now they’re all out hola well we’re on the road again yesterday was a bad day but that’s behind me now got the new tires on all’s well heading to madrid another city who would believe it so the first signs of madrid and the stadium over there and they’re flying in just over here so i’m nearly there 12 miles away [Music] madrid now is the famous bull fighting arena [Music] so [Music] [Music] seems more like downtown new york [Music] [Laughter] so i just arrived at the next town uh got myself a hotel bed i didn’t sleep well last night i’m feeling really tired uh been hard luck today so you’ll see on the video right now rooms nice nice view and yeah it’s all good well good morning very well last night noise with traffic there it’s the main road to madrid it’s nothing good sleeping [Music] seems to be going uphill windy i’m going really slow like eight miles an hour i don’t really use of all things lack of sleep wind needed day off i think oh my gosh was climbed absolutely shattered oh so tired [Music] come on road again i’m good it’s deep i don’t know how i’m doing it i got the energy honestly and how far this goes for i don’t know it’s hard work right go keep going filming right one to walk now just 24 30 foot i don’t want to snap my chain or don’t just being sensible [Music] you do this come on chris i can do this got to do walk a little bit more again so what i’m going to do now as a good blogger set the camera up run back down get my bike and do you see me walking with it they tell you what i can’t be asked it’s hard enough do it the first time i’m thinking that the tops was almost very nice on video but it’s hell to ride in the meters we’ve got what’s around the corner got another 50 kilometers to ride yet today there you go uber i couldn’t recall what was coming down then it was too rocky too dangerous but it’s not too bad [Music] there’s a pain in the backside doing this this is also very nice there’s a toss up between the two in it [Music] come on that way three more hours to go [Music] [Music] bike no kid you beloved definitely in spain here i am look where i am remember nowhere in the flat plains between the mountains in the land okay that’s right but it’s amazing [Music] [Music] in spain falls mainly on the sunflowers oh dear just look at that i gotta climb um [Music] ah dear it’s a good job the best part my cycling is climbing because that’s all i’m doing today and we’re doing 4 000 meters climbing today over 100 kilometers this is about 12 000 feet i think it’s also a lot [Music] spin spin spin that’s all you gotta do is spin [Music] it [Music] that’s not bad [Music] i’ve got a long way to go i’m talking to anybody in days anybody english sure any anybody just don’t get a bit lonely for now okay [Music] in the middle of nowhere [Music] just the planes [Music] i can’t see the bloody road yet wonders for 18 miles i’m sick of it [Music] wearing me down [Music] look where i gotta go so i’ve got myself back on the main road i did a five mile cutting across again i couldn’t continue on there another 20 k’s to do i’ve already done 25 i think yeah it’s killing me there’s no water no nothing okay i carried a bit more today but yeah still got another hour and a bit to do yeah and it’s like off to three o’clock it’s roasting [Music] coffee or salmon bella definitely get a hotel tonight i need to rest definitely get a hotel tonight i need to rest all right let’s crack on [Music] god wait [Music] later days has been main roads trucks throughout 50 euros so i’ll [Music] pretty barren there’s no let’s try and hide away from people and stuff but yeah the hotels are 50 dollars the best thing about all the work [Music] [Music] first wild camping wind diver so you can start looking higher doing it tonight just roasting that flies they are the worst things in the world ready so yes snowed orchids container there in waterfall [Music] first wow camp [Music] [Music] do [Music] [Music] [Music] well they even though it was like 26 degrees out here but just keeping multipliers away but there’s bloody flies everywhere got my rice and bacon beautiful night wood ready for a later on fire keeps the flies away but i’m going to stink the smoke so my sleeping bag so is my clothes just tough on the road still about 20 degrees these are the flies attempt just for a break oh i’m brought a book so i can’t really do any reading wonder because if i’m walking the flies aren’t on me getting gangu scouts be prepared 23rd scout day another day closer to portugal in lisbon i’m sat here while camping in the olive grove [Music] the yeah wild camp last night it was okay they didn’t sleep great you never do but it was cheaper than the hotel just stopped here by this lake first like a scene in spain but anywhere could be a river nice road there’s not really any cars there’s no way just over there [Music] going down here great we used to warm today it’s two round balls that’s the nuclear stage of climbing on this road here [Music] so i was just being escorted off the carriageway by the police i got a puncher [Music] [Music] i think it must be 27 28. because rose 2 o’clock not too bad today so i was getting stopped by the police i honestly don’t know how i’m doing it today crazy crazy day [Music] [Music] yes i say different channels [Music] 17 degrees thousand feet of climbing two thousand feet descending oh it’s so warm already [Music] i want to ride my bicycle i want to [Music] [Music] steady spinning as it goes [Music] all our senior crisps spin spin spin [Music] just rolling again [Music] this football i cannot love ham and cheese in my life [Music] let’s just stop in here yo this is it i’m about to leave spain and ride into portugal so that’s the whole length of spain done there’s not many people can say they’ve done that in their lives a bit so yeah reach the border so now it’s three four days maybe two lisbon [Music] happy happy happy [Music] bring my belt and happy i’m in portugal [Music] and it looked just like spain it’s still hot oh so i’m 220 kilometers to lisbon so now i’m riding coast to coast coastal coastal [Music] across portugal there’s not many can say that either coast to coast of britain and land angela gross prostate cancer so i’m in my fourth country now which i think is pretty good i know nobody else cares less in the siphon world all the cycling cafes or the southpaw club you never say anything never say well done shake your hand just go hello i’ll just count on talking i don’t care i know my family know my friends know what i do little snobby cyclists at cafes don’t even let on all the time stop them i say anyway you can see my village over there mega expensive oh some beautiful buildings about really nice [Music] so um another oil field more set up boo grab my wine just go chill and relax here now and then tomorrow we’ll set up again uh a couple of days from lisbon uh which is not too bad of a day today quite hilly and uh but you all we’re getting there but definitely getting the way to come home [Music] hola good morning so this is it the last day it’s got 20k to ride up the road there it’s about 12 miles to go nice and steady which is quite a busy road 24 degrees at 9 30. not that scrunchy all my main roads going into lisbon it’s got to be done room about when i’m happy i’m happy that i’m finishing but also means the end of the adventure for now let’s see what happens in the future and where i go next what happens next but yeah i’m gonna troubleshoot this one it’s all been good the sun’s out i’ve got a slight help that’s it that’s my own endpoint that’s lisbon and we’re all done over 3000 kilometers southport london
