Let’s see what we got for us. Went for the ste there. All righty, boys and girls. Welcome back. We got Lens Aahide round, what are we at now? Eight of the World Cup Series. And uh I’m going to be taking you through your course preview for the week. So yeah, a little bit of a new start there. Um they changed some things up and added a few kind of weird jumps. And then we’re back into the same track here. This uh little off camera here is kind of one line, but not much you can really do. And then we’re going to go into the trees here. And it gets a little slick. It’s hard to uh not much light gets on this mountain at the morning. So um wow. Yeah, I’m not wrong. It is slick. Anyways, not much light gets on the mountain since it comes off the other side of the hill. So, usually stays quite greasy until sun comes out. But yeah, anyways, Lenzah Hide’s always one of the sicker ones of the year. People at bike park, few fun jumps like this one, and uh always is usually a pretty flatout race. But yeah, I uh totally forgot to do the course preview on my second lap. Oh my god. So, I’m actually giving you guys it on my third. So, sorry if this video comes out a bit later than normal, but how’s this jump? Eh, let’s see what we got for us. Went for the ste there. How cool is that section of track? Eh, man. There’s a bunch of filmers there, so had to get the clip. Oh man. Anyways, back into the same part of the old track here. I’ve done a bit of work on some BMS like this one here. Rips. I’m going to try that highland there. First time on that. And yeah, dirt’s pretty mint. Lights hard to read, but at least the grips there. And hopefully it stays for the rest of the week. Doesn’t get too blown out and dry. Man, right there. Sun hasn’t hit it yet, so super slick and hard to predict. Oh, sick BM there. Got a big shout on right here. That I’d say this is the hardest corner on the mountain. To make it to that inside is really tough. It’s going to be a crucial corner come race day. And then yeah, another pretty famous rock garden ride in here. I’m going to go with that line. and get quite loose. Oh my gosh. Yeah, they build so many steps here. Nice fresh BM there cuz that one was so blown out two years ago, which was the last time we raced here. And yeah, we’re kind of coming to the end. That was the last rock garden. And now it’s just a few bike parks, but still really cool section of track. And one of my favorite jumps is this one here. Really sick. flat corner that I’m almost going to miss. And we’re coming in the last jump. Big drop. Got a wheelie to the finish line. And there you go.

  1. The natural sounds here are golden — no forced music, just living ambience. I aim for that raw, real sound in my cycling POVs around Shiraz and viewers always comment that it “feels like they’re there.” You nailed it.

  2. Seriously, next time you ride and push your limits, have a little chat with yourself as you go. It will keep you calmer and smoother… apart from the occasional F bomb and psychotic laughter. Because we're not JG.
