Day 7 of 9, covering more than 800 miles of bikepacking from the English Channel at Caen to Toulon on the Mediterranean sea in summer 2025. This stage takes us up and over the Causses de Cevennes in the Massif Central, dropping into the the departement du Gard and the heat and cicadas of Provence to Uzes. One big climb up through the spectacular Gorges du Tarn, dropping all the way into the plateau of Provence to Uzes via Ales. Possibly the best descent ever, over 10 miles (16km) of smooth, fast, quiet roads, just wow! Stopping in the beautiful Le-Pont-de-Montvert. Cresting out over the Col de La Croix de Berthel.
