I'm planning on getting a Gravity HD275 Trail from Bikesdirect (https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/gravity/hd-trail-275-hydraulic-disc-brake-mtb.htm), but the front forks seem like they'll be a bottleneck. Is it a bad idea to replace the stock Suntour M3030 forks with Suntour Epixon forks, using their upgrade program? I understand it might not be worth it to spend $200 on forks for a $350 bike, but I believe it will fit my needs.
If not, what price range should I be looking at for a bike with good front suspension?
