Taking a leap getting myself a first “nice” road bike for long-distance biking. The seller purchased this Trek Madone 4.5 H2 Compact new in 2012 and has since upgraded to a new bike.
Drive train and brakes appear to be unchanged. He added a gel seat, bottle cages, DuoTrap, and phone holder. Listing mentions “relatively low miles, numerous training rides in nearby Canyon, followed by a couple century rides.” Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated as I’m pretty new to this tier/quality of bike and what I should be looking for. I’ll be doing a test ride and inspection this afternoon.
