we are so fascinated with Germany and how different it is from the other places we’ve lived in so far particularly driving to various cities in Germany and the mini Road Rules we took advantage of today’s perfect weather and drove from stutgart to ro lingan because I was craving an outing and pancakes I’m following a bunch of Germany and Stewart related Facebook groups and someone posted a recommendation about a breakfast spot in this city and despite our goal of eating a delicious breakfast of course we had to just get to our destination first explore all the nuances of driving in Germany and then figure out how to park where we needed to go want to do some research on Sundays here what does that actually mean what can we actually do not do what’s the significance of slow Sunday okay so this is like a parking garage maybe numbers are like how many spaces they have left in there that’s cool that is what’s going on maybe let me know if that is true in the comments because I’m curious we can okay oh cool all right we figured it out almost I know let’s not celebrate yet it’s a Porsche this is a nice Porsche a think I to a picture you did oh okay so what we know so far is that parking garages are tight this is [Music] tight oh gosh oh gosh you’re good on this side our forever car needs to be small find of this for me and then maybe a little C can pull it next to you he tigh than U this car is just [Laughter] huge great job Ecuador definitely gave me parking anxiety like I I my mom was say she’s like oh you’re such a good driver you used to whip around do onehanded and all the things we learned that though cuz I did scratch no I used to I used to drive like that in Ecuador it made me drive like this like I’m just like let me see and our car wasn’t even like you know the best and the newest but I just I don’t know going to do it again I can straighten it a little bit okay this is good cuz I one we exiting it’s good practice yes that’s my thought is like all right that’s driving driving in Germany right let’s go figure out how to pay that’s also the next the next hurdle you’re going to take a picture of the license plate is that a English too the sign okay so interior vehicle license plate at the payment terminal so we made it out and I’m really excited to be out walking around and also just seeing a different part of where we are living let you go baby I just want to tell you that [Music] we’re at this restaurant called base coffee it’s written on the window there and we all ordered pancakes I got some bacon music playing the music is we probably wouldn’t get copyright for this music cuz I think they’re covers um but yeah I’m really happy to be out we just met another American and heed with us for a while he was really nice so I’m excited to eat tell us how your experience in Germany has been so far so far so is it it’s been um it’s been amazing actually I think Germany is turning out to be a really cool place to live um you know I think the natural first couple days stress of like not having housing not having a car like I still in the back of my mind but beyond that I think we’re at a really nice restaurants the weather has been amazing driving has been actually really nice and calm um I think it’s going to be a really good tour the bases are fantastic I think anyone who has an opportunity to experience a Bas like a US base um highly recommend it uh it’s like little America yeah so far so good is a bit slow we at least have water we’ve been seen we gotten our order put in but it’s a little slow starting to get Restless this isn’t a toy so we’re bringing out the snacks got his goby little spinner plate and toys are you looking for the small car what about this one it’ll pop it we’re food has finally arrived and we’ve got some blueberry pancakes with coconut got some eggs here and then this is so good this is the apple strudel pancake apple crumble apple crumble oh it has Biscoff cookies that’s why you like it so despite the service being a bit slow it was still great and we were treated well getting out of the house was the cherry on top of one having a delicious meal and two spending time with my two favorite guys and this was filmed right before cold weather hits we were happy we were able to take advantage of the beautiful temperature today have a recommendation for us or a tip leave it in the comments below and thanks so much in advance hey guys child is back there making friends very Grand massive all right we’re back here paying right so we’re going to put our plate number in there and then pay

  1. I actually appreciate the slow Sundays now. It forces you to slow down and appreciate having a slower lifestyle. Parking is definitely different lol. The longer that I'm here, I'm constantly changing my mind regarding wanting a larger vehicle. Making reservations is also big here. We usually take our chances if it's not an outing for dinner.

  2. I just came across your video, and I had visited Reutlingen last year. I parked in the same garage and had the same "yikes" reaction as to how narrow it was, with steep ramps between floors! (And I was in a manual transmission!) The market on Saturdays is awesome, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Thanks for bringing back such happy memories, and I'm glad you had a good visit as well. Best wishes to your family.
