My Argon18 Dark Matter came equipped with a pair of 50mm Conti gravel tires, but the 7-8mm of width made a bigger difference than I expected.
The Thunder Burts(58mm) on my wide zipp wheels pumped to 1,3 bar is a whole new level of comfort and stability. It’s not noticeable slower on tarmac, but feels so much better on the gravel roads.
The clearance is still pretty okay, so I think I will be running these tires through the winter.
