    One of the iconic things about the Brompton is the unique silhouette, which really stands out when the frame is a different color. Black just makes the whole bike blend in. You may want that for some practical reasons i.e. so that you don’t attract attention or hiding dirt, but I think with this kind of bike, it’s fun to be extroverted about the colours a bit. it’s also more visible. I would go for the orange for example

    Just my preference but…..I don’t like all black bikes (and this is coming from someone who has an all-black road bike. I thought it was cool at first, but then I see other people’s bikes with nice/fun colors and mine seems too plain). I think it’s worse when the black paint is also matte which seems to be a trend….I think matte paint looks cheaper. I love the deep glossy look of the premium lacquer finishes, which is pretty unique and looks so luxurious. That’s quintessential Brompton
