Race one for the Morton FIM Super World Championship got underway at Magnico with Doc Pra Gatler getting the whole shot from pole position. Alex Lo had an incredible start moving up into P2 up the inside of Bulliga at turn two. An unusual place to make a move. He was soon hot on the tail of top rack Rascatloo behind. Buliger had dropped to P4. Sam Lowe’s moving into podium contention before a crash at turn nine. Jonathan Ray and Andrea Yon taken out by Yari Montella who was given a penalty for Sunday’s action. Alvare Batista and Chavy Vie seemingly went down at the same corner but in separate incidents. Andre was taken to the medical center and diagnosed with multiple contusions following the crash. Alex Lo was all over top the ugly for P1. Nicola Biliger was fighting his way back into P2 though. First he passed Sam Nodes at turn five before getting ahead of Alex Lo at turn four making sure he was clear of the promoter rider under the braking zone at the Adelaide hairpin. Michael Vandermark had two falls during race one. The first coming at turn eight and the latter coming at turn three. After the second, he was taken to the medical center and diagnosed with multiple contusions. Andrea Lockelli had to start from the back of the grid after crashing into Super Pole, but he made light work of fighting his way through the field, getting ahead of Remy Gardner for P6 before Garrett Goff followed him through shortly after. However, the Texans race came to a halt at turn three when he crashed. Top Break Razgatloo was untouchable at the front of the field, building up a huge gap to Buluga MP2. a consistent race face that he showed on Friday once again on display on Saturday. Sam Lo was running in P4, but his hopes of a late podium charge came to an end when he had a slow speed crash at turn 13. He was able to rejoin the race inside the top 10. But on the final lap, Elco was making his way round and acknowledging the crowd as he celebrated a ninth victory at the circuit magnore. He’s now one at the iconic circuit with three different manufacturers. Kawasaki, Yamaha, and BMW matching a feat only achieved by Troy Corser at Philip Island, winning at one circuit with three different manufacturers. It was also his ninth win at the circuit, tying him with Jonathan Ray for alltime wins at Magnikor. Two top tracks appeared in Park Furmy as El Turko celebrated with a giant cut out of his head before lifting the trophy aloft to celebrate yet another victory. He came home more than 8 seconds clear of Buliga in second. gaining five points on the Italian in the title race. Alex Loe’s was third, bringing home Botto’s first full race podium since 2000. Danilo Petruchi was fourth head of Andre Loelli in fifth. Sergio Garcia scored points on his debut. He was 11th head of Michael Raldi, Ryan Vicas, Titobat, and Zachi who scored his first points in World Superbike. For me today is incredible because I did the P position and the new record and especially I’m always thinking the last year because after the big crash you know I’m not racing yet last year now I need to win here again with BMW this because this is the my last season and uh I’m happy you know we are very strong starting and also we did incurable pace and but I need some sector and some corner need to improve my bike because end of the race I did some mistake because uh the electronic side when rear tire little bit drop and I feel a lot of locking. Uh but this one is not a big problem. Uh I needed just some small uh changing.
