Hi everyone,
I need some help identifying this bike and figuring out which parts have been replaced.
It’s a second-hand bike I’m interested in buying. The seller claims it’s a modified Brompton with many carbon and titanium components.
At first glance, it looks like a P Line Flame Lacquer, but I don’t see the “P” that’s usually present on the frame.
What I know so far:
• It has 6 speeds (Sram).
• The seat tube is carbon.
• The pedals, chain, and possibly the rear rack have been swapped.
• Some Litepro parts are also visible.
I’d like to confirm whether this is truly a Brompton P Line and not a Brompnot (Litepro).
Could someone estimate the weight of this bike? And what would be a fair price for it?
The last photo is from the Litepro website for comparison
Thanks!

The seller is lying to you. The bike in these pictures is a LitePro S9 with a Brompton sticker on it.
The biggest indicators are the rear rack (does not connect to the roller wheels on the rear triangle. Look up the Brompton Advanced Rear Rack and compare pictures of the two), the derailleur (again, just look up pictures of a real brompton and you’ll see the difference), and the crank (literally has LitePro written on it).
There are a couple things that suggest this is a real brompton. The lever for the seat post, the front carrier block, and the fact that the stem for the handlebars is painted instead of black. Still, I’d take a hard pass on this one.
Even if it is a real brompton frame with a bunch of aftermarket parts, I would not buy it.
I have this exact bike, red lacquer with the red lacquer stem. The frame looks legit. The stem is the H-bar stem so taller than normal.
Interesting they’ve got Litepro for so many of the components though. The brakes still look like the Brompton ones so that’s good. Any questions about mine that could help you let me know.
Edit: Found the ad. I would ask the seller a lot about the history of it and exactly what changes were made. Curious if they say the fork and rear triangle was swapped out. The version of this with the red flame lacquer stem was the C-line, but the fork looks Ti, so curious is they were swapped out.
