[Music] Mo Hotel Adventures, Bonjour, France. We It ended up being a bit monumental last night in Purak, I must admit, with the sea down on the front. It was just incredible, was it? Um anyway, today we left the camper park there. It’s a little bit unsettled at the moment down here. So, we’ve decided just to make a move. I wanted to check out this other camping car park position up at Lurble the roundabout. Take the second exit. So, we’ve just not come very far. Probably about 5 miles, 4 and a half, 5 miles up a little bit further. That’s right. I better get my uh take the second exit. Yeah, I can see the sign there for uh Pen Braun. the um kind of beach place where there’s a bit of a uh cycle path. So, we’re just going to go 200 y turn left. This almost looks like the front end. Yeah, okay, I better get my indicator on. Get around here. This is the beach. And this looks like the sign for pen bra grand falsy. I can see the there’s a camper sign there. Go on down. Have a look. I sort of This is going to be it. Give this guy a bit of space. Crack on boy. The good good thing about them camping car parks, you can see the green. You can see you just get used to the colors of the uh Yeah, the entrance. So, I think I’m going to Looks not bad, does it? Let’s get in here. Yeah. And looks like some spaces. But do you have to activate it again? Right. Just give us a second. Okay. So, we’re getting we’re getting right into the swing of it now. We just like rock up. Make sure your activation is buttoned. And there. It’s easy as that. See? It’s easy as that. And then all we do is drive in, stake out. I like the position on the left straight away to be honest. Or is that close to the rubbish? I’ll wait for Caroline to pitch up and uh get her little finger going. And she was like, “Over there, over there, over there.” We’ll have a little look. Let’s um let me just have a little uh Right. I need to get out and stake it. Okay, just a little um stake out. It’s always just good to um have a little uh get the position and then you know where to drive. And I’ve literally like the position out by the out by the road. We’re sort of looking out towards the forest seem to be like bit of a view out towards the road and uh that oh so okay that’s all right. Lovely. Okay. Hey, just having a look at the map. And so that’s where we’ve come from, Purak. And then we’ve uh come on down to Lurbal. And uh we’re kind of along this area now. So there’s a nice route right out on this kind of beach. And um yeah, so that that’s that was my plan is to um have a little mooch around this kind of area. So we’re going to get the bikes out and uh get going. Looking forward to it. [Music] Within 10 minutes, we’re ready. Uh, just about ready to go. Caroline’s getting the strapper on. Right, that’s it. Right, I’ll follow you. Right. Okay, let’s go. Oh my god, there’s a Dodge camper in the way. Ah, perfect. Straight onto the trail. Look at that. That’s nice. All right, let’s get the old uh clips back in. Nice. That’s the way. Oh, looks like there’s a camping site up here as well. [Music] Kind of a mobile home possibly. Don’t know. Lu ball. We’ll just uh exit in. The area is located 100 meters from the Grand Falet’s beach on the GR34 and Velocan routes less than 5 km from the salt marshes. [Music] So, we just had a comment. It’s apparently it’s raining in Wilshire. So, we’re not feeling too hard done by at the moment because we’re only getting a few little spits. So, hopefully it’ll hold off for the ride. Let’s see what happens. Ben Braun. Okay, I think most people today have got their kind of windproof jackets on. I’m still uh in my uh short sleeve top at the moment cuz it’s fairly warm. It’s probably about 18/19°. The Geron Peninsula offers a large number of exceptional and unique landscapes. Lurbal is located in the north of this small corner of the Lirantique. This pretty town driven by fishing organizes tourist events around its main activity all year round. It also offers nearly 10 calit of beaches which welcome hikers, sportsmen, fishermen and tourists who come to practice all kinds of activities. [Music] [Music] Wow, we’ve just broken out [Music] into the flat area just as we’re starting to get a bit of pain. But uh what a difference the wind. Yeah. And there’s a little bit of a black cloud that way. So that’s obviously what we’re getting the wind. But what a landscape here. How flat is this? I can see people stood in the water out in the distance. A lot of people actually probably looking for the shellfish. [Music] This [ __ ] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] What a law to get the the rain jacket on. It’s uh coming down a bit harder. So, I’m going to try and make the trees get some shelter, I think. That looks like the end of the road. Hotel to Penbron. And uh the rain is coming down pretty fast. We just came a little bit. We’re going to go on a little bit further with the bikes. I think we can um just go down and have a little mooch. [Music] [Music] This actually looks like the hotel right down here. I’ll just get down and have a look. It’s all pretty quiet. Not much going on. Oh, look. Lovely views. Wow. boats out here cracking. [Music] In actual fact, the hotel looks like it’s redundant. It actually looks totally empty. So, that’s uh a good thing for us. So, uh Oh, look at this lovely white sand. Look at that beach. That’s mad. [Music] Back to the beaches. Crazy. Bit bit rough on the on the road mines. Oh, this looks incredible. Take a look here. me again. Just that split second. The rain kind of eased off. Oh god, this is going to be a killer on the uh the back end. Oh, look at this. Wow. I’m going to hit the sand. Wow. Let’s get through the sand. That was soon. Shake off. I’m going to get off the bike. Wow. Got off the bike. Wow. It’s getting hectic. I get on the end. Wow. See the the church and the tiny other side. Look at that. Wow. Let’s just turn the camera around. You see the beach? The wind here is just crazy wind. Wow. I’m literally having a struggle. My bike is blowing sideways and he Oh man, I got to be careful not to go down over there. You don’t want to go go over that one. Right, let’s get back. Jesus, camera showering behind the trees up here. That’s where I’m going. That’s a great great position. Wow. Shame the weather would look a tad better. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] So, I’ve got I’ve got a French lady trying to train me how to say they’re they’re ovening their plums. Look, they’re over they’re having their They’re not having their energy bars. They’re having their plums. But um so this the name of this place. Sorry to interrupt the Lel. Okay. Have you got that? Lbel. I’m I’m learning my French, but it’s too late in the day. You know what Jos’s like? [Music] [Laughter] [Music] Yeah. So, we’ve been having a bit of a hoot with the guys down here. So, uh it’s all good fun. But great uh eased off again now. So, it’s just like very like changeable the weather. But, um great views out across here with all these tractors collecting the the muscles and the shellfish out across there. The oysters, tractors tearing around on the planes. Amazing views. [Music] Oh, this guy is I wonder what he’s got in his basket. Got in his basket. No, I was going to have a look in this basket. See what he had. See what sort of catch he had. [Music] So on the other side of this trail, the other side of this uh peninsula out here, Pen Bon, is the big beach that runs all the way along the other side right out to the break wall over there. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] Must be the uh the habitat for some big mushrooms. Look at this. Look at that. Wow, [Music] they’re really really slippery. Ooh, look at that. Lots of them in amongst the grass. Oh, so we made a little deviation and we’ve come out to these I presume. Is this Salt. Salt wines. Yeah, this is salt, isn’t it? I think. Yeah. Look at the pile in the middle there. It’s where they collect I’m pretty sure this where they collect all the salt. Although it’s kind of like raining. You can see the splashes in the water. It’s really warm. It’s gone really warm again now. And it’s a epic landscape out here. I was uh This is exactly what I wanted to see. [Music] So there we are on the camping car park. So now we’re running towards Labal uh the other direction from the camper park. We’re kind of uh back on tarmac, so it’s a nice ride. We’re just uh running adjacent to the beach. Still a little bit windy, but we can see a bit of blue sky ahead, which uh is encouraging. Don’t know whether we need to get a Union Jack up here. There’s a Scottish flag, a Britannia flag, and a Welsh flag. I’m just going around the roundabout and checking out this guy’s boat in the garden. It’s all right. Straight on. I’m just checking out the boat. Caroline’s wondering what the hell I’m doing. There we go. Nice. So, I think we’re breaking out on the edge of Label. Oh, yeah. The sun’s making an appearance. That is nice. Pink carousel. Very bright. Some restaurants along the front here. And ah, this looks better. Look, we got an English flag. How good’s that? We got a Union Jack. Perfect. So, we’re now right onto Lurbel. Nice place. Okay, I think we’re just going to mosey on indicate where you’re going. Mosy on round here. If you take it here, big uh fish port by the looks of things, but nice views. Wow, look at this. The center of the town. [Music] Nothing is untrue. Nothing don’t matter. It’s all So this is a bigger campsite up here. The full delay follow that. Yeah. Camping chalets on the pls of it. Right, I’m going to be a little bit uh bit nosy and just have a a look at this camping cuz I saw some nice pictures down on the front. Let’s just have a little look, see what it’s like. Just for the reference, let’s have a look. There’s quite a few campers in here. Mind don’t know if they got any other pictures. Oh, look at the pictures down here right on the water [Music] out onto the plage by the looks of it. Oh, there’s an English guy. Are you getting Where were you guys from then? We got to call Penzans. Oh, Penzance. Well, we we know Penzance. Blood. Yeah, we know Penzance. Lon sort of near Mills. So we we’ve been chatting away for about 20 minutes. Um straight away it’s like yeah we’re from Cornwall and we’re like yeah that’s how it maps out. Absolutely brilliant. And uh they they’ve actually been coming to this site for like 10 years and have the same kind of pitch. It’s uh uh I can see why because it’s a absolutely perfect location. Be like strangers. Never be afraid in fear of each other. May we keep all we uncover. We’re caught in burning fire almost falling from the sky. And the sun tear the wings of us like a gig. We fly with courage in the fly with passion in our hearts. On the little pose on the beach I can see in the distance where I’ve just come from the county over there. Love will guide us safe to shore. So, we just stumbled upon the next camping car park. Just uh let’s have a little look or rear a lorat. This one. So, it’s on the tarmac. All electric hookups. Lovely air. Great stuff, isn’t it? This is the good thing though, is it? It’s not that far from the next, you know, pretty close to uh where we come from this morning, but um and it goes it goes all the way around here. Look goes Oh, goes out on a bit of um bit more grally out here. Look, by the tennis courts. That’s great. Right, I’m going to spin it. Right, let’s spin round. Got a nice nice uh nice place. It’s like about 30 pictures I think that. Oh yeah. Yeah. 30 places on the board. Cool. Okay. Onward. Tear the wings of the light. Oh, we made it back. Parax. Wow, that’s mad. And there’s the beach. Guide us safe to shore. Safe to shore. Perfect the location to finish off cuz we’re just going to basically now turn around and head back where we’ve come from. But a great ride. Epic. And we saw the blue sky in the end. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Yeah, the sun eventually came through and uh what a stalking ride that was. Absolutely beautiful. Anyway, just on the way back, luckily enough, we um popped into the Caraphor City just up here in Lurbel and uh managed to pick up a nice baguette and some and uh what I did was um gave Caroline a baguette and some uh mozzarella sticks and some little cake things. And uh so in my bag we have got I said to the woman, I said, “I’ve got a really sore bottom.” So, she said, “You need some of that and you need some of this kind of IPA.” And I’m like, “Well, that looks pretty good.” Is it um is it like some special formula?
