You can’t miss climbing Veitsburg for breathtaking views over the city and surrounding countryside-we did this just before sunset and it was magical! Make sure to wander through the charming Marienplatz, the heart of the city, where you’ll find cosy cafes and local stores to browse.
Architecture lovers can’t miss the Rathaus (city hall) and Blaserturm, which you can climb for amazing views if you visit from May to October! And if you’re visiting with family, this city is home to the famous board game brand-stop by the Museum Ravensburger to learn all about it!
Located near Lake Constance, Ravensburg is one of those underrated destinations that’s perfect for exploring on a weekend getaway. With its rich history and picturesque streets, this town has so much to offer but is overlooked for the famous cities nearby instead, like Munich.
