If you’re considering visiting Austria, let this be your sign. This was our first full day at Feel free Resort, which is a beautiful hotel 45 minutes away from Insbrook. We got breakfast at a local cafe walking distance from where we were staying. I got a ham omelette and it was so good. This was the only day it rained during our trip, but we didn’t let that stop us because we were in the Austrian Alps and needed to take advantage of every moment. So, we rented ebikes and biked through the villages. Even with the clouds objecting the view, it was still so gorgeous. We biked to a nearby waterfall and it was so serene. I’m not a huge biker, but I would totally recommend a morning ebiking session to see all the views. We passed by so many different animals, which was one of my favorite parts. In total, we biked about 25 miles. It was honestly a great workout. In the afternoon, we took a 40-minute drive to Insrook, which is the nearest major city. The colorful buildings off the river were so pretty. We walked around Oldtown a bit until we stopped to get dinner at Ottoberg, which is one of the oldest buildings in Innsbrook, dating back to the 15th century. We sat outside and got a great view of the town and people watching. The beef carpacio and drinks were my favorite. I’m not going to lie, we didn’t love the steak, but it was such a cool experience. After dinner, we went to the mall nearby, and I just love the European shopping. You can find such good things. We ended the night back at the resort and got a few drinks outside. It was so lovely. Come back for our next itinerary. Love you.
