Went from 700×32 Gatorskins at 110psi to 700×32 GP5K tubeless at 45-50psi this year and the ride quality difference is staggering. I don't skid that much but when I do, I can feel my money burning away LOL. The lack of tubeless options is kinda crazy.
Has anyone gone back to tubes after the lavish life of tubeless? Not sure if I can!

I run tubeless on gravel and it’s incredible. Haven’t made the investment on fixed yet. Generally go between 28/32 gatorskins at 60/80psi fixed.
Where did you get that handlebar? Looking to get one myself 🙂
110 PSI is nutty, just because tires say max PSI is 110 doesn’t mean we should be pumping it to that
Most likely you would be better off with clinchers somewhere between 50-70 depending on your system weight
I’ve completely slept on tubeless, I understand the idea but what is the benefit in practice? I come from the time when 700x23s at 100+ psi was the norm for bombing around in the city, 32s would have been corny as hell but I understand that has evolved (My hay days of fixed riding was early mid 2000s, swear life and the world has just gotten worse and worse ever since then, hope others are doing better but holy shit I can’t believe I’m like outdated on bike stuff, I’m living in the past
Not on the fixie, it’s a waste of money to fill them with sealant and rim tape if you skid regularly!!
I mean running a 32c tire at 110psi is wild, no wonder why you felt such a big difference. That must have felt like riding straight on the rim.
