The bike is 50% more comfortable compared to the previous model, features increased 38mm tyre clearance, and user-friendly in-frame tools.

BW Cycling – The complete cycling experience
This is BW C cycling and pleased to announce that we’ve just taken delivery of the new Scott addict bike this launch this week. Uh we’ve got two models here. Just going to have a little look at them in a bit more detail and talk about some of the features that we think are really useful for you and that we really like in the new bike. So we’ve got the addict 50 which is mechanical 105 and alloy wheel. And then I think the pick of the bunch is this one which is the addict 30 105D2 and a carbon wood as well. Compared to the last addict couple of main changes main thing in the frame and aesthetic they said they’ve increased the comfort by 50% over the old addict. Probably the tire size the frame but also in this new flex post as well. This has come off the gravel bikes and also the big thing is a lot of the frame aesthetics and aerodynamics are coming from the addict RC the new bike on the road. So we see the arrow profiling here, bit more flex in the rear end and like I say, load of flex in the seat post. So more comfortable bike, increasing tire size, now taking up to a 38 mil tire front and back. And then big features as well, it’s all about storage on these endurance bikes. Instead of being here, which as useful as it is, doesn’t look the best to be honest, Scott way. We’ve got storage for pump gas bombs and also into this bottom end here. That one clips out and it gives frame storage. Looks a little neater, I think. And we’ve also got a feature shared from the addict RC. The end bar, we got race day tool in this one. That one pops out. You’ve got your Allen keys for your skewers and also for your seat post and your bar and stem as well. In terms of the fit on these, this is build as their endurance bike. So, and they’ve come up a little higher this year. So, we’re up 10 mil on the front end and 5 mil in the top tube. So, you look at that stack and reach measurements. It’s going to give a really upright position, but the nice thing is because they’ve lengthened the fork and head tube, it doesn’t look like it’s right up here. Actually looks pretty neat and pretty stealthy. Price on this one is 3399 and that’s with a carbon wheel and 105D2. So unbelievable value. Weight wise 8.4 kilos. That’s Scott but that’s also on our scales as well. So they’re not lying. In terms of 105 the price point’s a little lower. Same frame 105 mechanical on the 50 with an alloy wheel. It’s 24 49 as well. So super competitive new frame. looks like the Attic RC. Comfortable fit and I think these bikes are going to sell real well.
