I took my MTB deep into the forest, climbing all the way to Pezinská Baba, a mountain pass near Bratislava, Slovakia. 🌲🚴‍♂️
The ride was tough, steep, and a little dangerous at times – but that made it even more fun. Could you survive this trail?

So I’m not sure how far I going to go today. The maximum what I want to do is 40 km. The minimum what I want to do is 10 kilometers. But even the first hill is kill. Oh man, I’m so tired already after 20 minutes. It’s just first 3 kilometers. Oh my god, it’s raining, isn’t it? adding to the pleasure of this ride. Not so hasty. I will be out of energy very soon. Forecast said no rain until 8:00 in the evening. It’s not even 12 and it’s already raining. I got bamboozled by forecast. [Music] 2.7 kilometers awaits me up this hill. Perfect. I love uphills. [Music] Man, it started to drizzle. Small slow drizzle, but I going to be soaked. Let me get that. Too much horsepower this bike have. Oh, as I said, too much horsepower. [Music] Fellow bikers are going downhill. Oh man, it’s so enjoyable this downhill section. half kilome here. Yes, it was uphill section. Yeah, so happy. I’m getting cold. Rain stopped. That’s positive. Spent 40 minutes approximately on this uphill section. [Music] Last time I was just pushing bike out here. I hope I will not this time. But it seems like it’s not [Music] of course cold drinks. [Music] So the fun begins here. [Music] [Music] He’s not dead. Maybe that’s [Music] So my biggest problem now is that they didn’t get enough batteries. We’re only doing the second battery which is not charged before. [Music] So, So far so good. Nothing too crazy. It’s muddy. Tires are sliding. It’s not too bad. And I had a break. I met a guy and we talked for a bit and he was like, “Oh, when did you start mountain biking?” I was like, “Today.” And he was like, “Oh, really?” Yeah. Interesting. [Music] We are going by the red. No problem there. Breaking. Breaking. Breaking. Breaking. Breaking. Breaking. My head. So, let’s go up hills. [Music] This downhill section over there was so nice. I’m not feeling tired yet. My legs are so soft. They don’t listen to my commands and my muscle have this burning and painful sensation. So I need to think permission especially on uphills and one last percent. That’s my second battery. Then I’m just halfway there. So, I’m on my last battery. As I said before, I have lost% when my battery died. So, that’s that’s not okay. Not perfect, but hopefully this will last a little bit longer. I’m halfway there or like 2/3. They considered it like this. And I have three batteries and one battery last one quarter of the road. That’s okay. [Music] Yeah, mud. More mud. I did not imagine it like this. Too much muddy. This song is so muddy. My god. So I can tell you that uh so far I was not very dirty from mud but now I going to be 100% [Music] [Music] Thank you for not being so sticky. Now we need to stop for a view. So nice. This view is so nice. I need to record it on my phone. This action camera is not doing justice to it. So far so good. Nothing unexpected happened. I have enough of water, enough of I don’t drink any food. So that’s all right. There is a restaurant up there. Very lovely. I don’t feel out of energy. Temperature is perfect. It’s just getting foggy, but it’s it’s no problem for me on a bicycle. I don’t go so fast. That’s all right. Better than rain. So, let’s continue. [Music] Very important to not miss this [Music] crossroad. [Music] It is so beautiful up here. to the very very last part of this cycling tour. For me, it’s very hard to create sentences while riding a mountain bike in forest in my not native language. But I am enjoying it so far. Just these freaking batteries of this camera makes me worried with every downhill uphill is approaching. [Music] Uh-huh. enjoying a break over here. Only last four to 5 kilometers left and then I will head home. Weather okayish slow drizzle emerged but other than that it’s okay. I think I have enough of water. There is a restaurant. I will have a lunch there. So, so far so good. [Music] So, this is a cycle bed, but when I look at it, it’s more like psycho pet. Okay. M. [Music] Oh no. Okay. Yeah. That’s okay. That’s what I got for breaking with front wheel damage. None knee. Okay. Just modic. So, let’s go. Lesson learn won’t break. It won’t breaks. Break [Music] front again. [Music] I survived. No harm properly or to my to my body. [Music] Oh, found brakes again. Don’t Don’t touch them. [Music] I think I need to delete them if I want to keep riding trailers like this because in emergency my mind goes like press the brakes even the front ones. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. So this is it. Basins Kabava. My final destination for today. I got a bit of sun in the end. office worker can survive 20 kilometers on a mountain bike through through the forest if he’s not breaking with front uh with front wheel. That’s that’s the main point what we learned today. But other than that, everything went smoothly. I have enough water. I don’t feel out of energy yet. Like and subscribe. See you in the next one. Bye-bye. Yeah. Heat.
