[Music] Mo Hotel Adventures. Bonjour, France. We [Music] approximately 9:00 in France. We’re just going out to the beach. Yeah. Yeah. You see, he was there last night. Yeah. I think um whether he couldn’t get in or anything, but uh anyway, we’re just going out to the beach cuz we can hear the waves and uh the tide has come in now. So, we want to see how um vast the sea is out here this morning. Oh, this looks like the um where the tractor put all the Oh, yeah. the boys. Look. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It’s right in. Look. Oh, it’s right here. Wow, what a difference. What a difference today. Look at that. Wow. Looking right up the coast. What a beautiful day. Beautiful beach. Just the thing. Yesterday we were stood right out over there on land. Wow. Yeah. Smashing up against the rocks down at the end as well. I think I’ve just spotted like a jellyfish in the water. Just it look. There it is. It’s rolling around in the water. Oh, look at that. Oh, it’s coming right up. Right up even further. Wow. So, that is us done and dusted. Carolus, great little stay. There’s the board. Don’t stay. There is the camper park. And we are out of here this morning. Heading a bit more south. It’s a bit chilly. Oh, and look, there’s a um hang glider with a little engine on flying up there. Okay, we’re away. There it is. Back to the park, Ranches. It’s our first little uh town after a mile. So, we got straight into a little diversion. There’s a yellow sign for Renslock. So there was a diversion exit onto the main road that we wanted calculating route but um we’re just taking the diversion route. So we’re following the yellow sign of a mile turn right at the roundabout taking the first exit. Wow, look at that nice cathedral like a NRAAM style. Right at the roundabout, taking the first exit. A beauty that it just follow on round. There’s the yellow sign to Ren’s. There is the cathedral. Recalculating route. Turn right. Recalculating route. I think my son’s going to burn itself out in a minute. 60 yards. Turn back at the roundabout. Taking the third exit. No, we’re following the yellow signs to reex. Take the third exit. Recalculating route. Take the fourth exit. Right. You’re starting to get on my nerves. Go over the roundabout. Starting to get on my nerves again now. Cut that out. So, why aren’t you listening to me? After quarter of a mile, enter the roundabout and take the second exit. Then take the next right. Take the next right. Then take the first exit. Tank on the left. Take the first exit. Going to race. End the roundabout. End the roundabout. Take the first exit. Very tight rain. Yeah. Yeah. A little bit. Um. Yeah. This is uh not the normal route, but at least we’re uh seeing other ranches. Yeah. [Music] There it is. And I think we’re back out on the main road. There’s the sign up, the finish of the deviation. Right, that’s it. Then we got um 97 to go. Better indicate. 97 miles and we’ll be parking up again. So, we are chewing up the miles in France. We have uh just over 20 21 miles to go to our next park up and that’s going to be about 25 minutes. So, we should be pulling in around about just before 12:00 here French time. And I was only thinking to myself, are you like, yeah, I’m talking to you. Are you coming over next year? Yeah, you. There’s no one behind you, is there? It’s you. Are you coming over next year? What is the advantage of coming to France? We’ve just had three nights. The first night that pork bail was a freebie. The second night was about I think it was about €14. and last night hovering around give or take a few euros but what’s that about €28 so basically oh hello um English so um they they made the choice of coming over so €28 three nights accommodation in France that’s probably about 25 quid that’s not bad is it that’s really really good value for money and that’s the beauty of like coming to France. Oh, this is another uh man Brit van. Yeah. Um Yeah. What can you say? Um we’ve been we’ve actually all we’ve had out uh at the moment we have actually had a couple of beers. Yeah, that’s all we’ve had. I think we had one beer at Port Bale. We had the affliction at the other place and we had one yesterday in the bar just by the camping car park place. So, we’ve just had a few beers and that is it so far. We’ve not eaten out. We’ve been eating our food at our um Greg sausage rolls last night and some baked beans as you saw in the previous video. Um it’s not made up. It’s real Greg’s food. Uh so yeah, but um yeah, so we’ll see what pans out, but don’t hold back. If you’re thinking about coming out next year, have a look at the old ferry crossings. Get on at Britany Fairies, DFDS, have a look. You you might scoop a magic deal uh this time of year for next year. But um well recommended. We know some people Chris and Sue were um we’ve lost communications a little bit. We’ll probably be catching up with them shortly, but um they have made their first journey over and they’re actually over in France at the moment. So, we’ll be really really excited to see how it’s going for them. I did we did have exchanged a couple of messages. The Wi-Fi is not being that good. Yeah, he’s he’s um had a bit of Wi-Fi issues and stuff and signal, so it’s it’s fine. But we will be catching up with them before long. and uh but they are French virgin people. They haven’t been over before. So, it’s going to be great to uh find out what they think about the the whole experience. But we recommend it’s great fun, great people on on the way and um yeah, it is the business. So, we’re going to uh crack off a few more miles, 18 miles to go and uh we’ll see you shortly. After 300 y right? Oh, we have beehives in this one. Look. Take the second exit. There we go. That’s where we’re going. Blaine. Bay Blaine 54 to Santa and 9 km to Blaine. Right, I’ve got 5.6 miles on my Satan to do. Another 9 minutes and we’ll be at the air. Right. So this is Blaine. Enter the roundabout. Take the third exit. Sneak around a lot. Take the third exit. Tourist San. I think that’s um in the center of the roundabout. It’s like the lock gates. Look, cuz this is on the canal. This is on the Take the second exit. That’s good. I love the roundabout. Right then, we are pretty close to the destination. Don’t tell me they’re taking off the road. If we can get around the digger. Yeah. Can I do that, mate? Can I go over? Yeah. Lovely. Boom. Right on around the corner. Oh, there’s a big um arrive at your destination. I can see it. It’s easy. Oh, wow. There’s the big shadow in the background. Oh, right. Here we go then. I’m going in. Call this a bit of an arrow one. We going to squeeze through. Yes. And there is the entrance to the camping car park. [Music] Right. Okay then. There we go. You go. Okay. On I go. [Music] Oh, there’s a couple down here between the trees. It looks nice. Looks really nice. There is uh no electric on this one. So, I’m going to um pull on down and select my position. And I think I’m going to go for this next position here. There we are. We’re on the pitch. So, we’re going to um get ourselves motivated and uh get the bike straight out and see if we can find this canal. But um that’s okay. Brilliant. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] It’s all right. Just going to um check the little bar out up here that I’m staking out. There’s a couple of nice little bars here. I’m just going to um just want to while I’m on Oh, there’s one. And then the other one is up here. Let’s just have a little look. Hang on. No, down the seal. We’re on the end. The monkey bike bar. That’s the one. That’s the one. The monkey bike bar. Wonder if it opens later on. Right. I’m just going to do a little turn. There it is. The monkey bike bar. But um Oh, is this what you were on about? Yeah. I don’t know whether it’s uh ah might be just open weekends. Okay. Maybe. Um let’s have a little look. Uh it might be later on. Might be later on. 3:00. Okay. I reckon. So the monkey bike bar. Great stuff. Right. Let’s get going. [Music] This is actually Oh yes, the west canal section. a lot more sociable to be on a real nice trail like this. Open landscapes. Really, really nice. No concerns over the cars and stuff. So, it’s all smiley faces definitely. [Music] So, he’s having a bit of a break. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Music] Wow. Beautiful manicured lock. Wow. The little cottage on the left. Wow, look at that. [Music] [Music] [Music] Oo. [Music] Have a look. [Music] Picturesque. [Music] [Music] So good to be out in the fresh air, just trees and landscape. Oh, a few horses. [Music] Woo! [Music] [Music] [Music] Wow, look at this. So nice and manicured little lock keepers cottage. Wow. [Music] We’re just keeping an eye on the weather. Looks a bit uh gray that way. But what a stunning ride up this canal. [Music] Quick hop over the bridge. [Music] Yeah, we only had a kind of like light breakfast this morning. Nothing too heavy. Some nice uh fruit and uh berry flake stuff. So, uh I’m actually starting to get a bit hungry again. admit I said to Caroline, “It’d be lovely if there was a a nice French key shop up here cuz that’s the sort of you start thinking about your uh the appetite starts rising.” But we’ve got our power bars. Caroline slipped in the power bars. So, if we do need a bit of an energy boost in a bit. Oh, look through there. There’s a lovely almost like a turreted building up through the trees. [Music] through that way. Lovely [Music] epic scenery. [Music] a donkey in there on the right. Gray donkey. So anyway, I’m getting super hungry. I said to Caroline, I’m uh looking for a little um sit down place. So, this looks like it could be it. It’s time for a power bar. This is lunch. That’s perfect. Look at that. Excellent. A little cycle path services. I need a new WA. Yeah, we’re just uh easing our bottoms into it slowly. Getting the uh contours of the seat. It’s like walking John Wayne. So all the way from England. Strawberry and cranberry. What they like? Nice. Yeah. Oh, it’s just just what you need when you’re uh when you’re super hungry in it. I can’t even sit on the seat. Carolyn can’t even sit down. Mind you, if we turned now and went back, that’s nearly 17. Nearly 17 mile. We’ve just gone over eight miles so far, but we’re just going to ease into it gradually really. That’s non summer’s there over there. Cent’s there. Just up there. Brilliant. Right. That’s the power bar consumed. My legs still hurt. Can I have a little bit of your drink? cuz I’ve nearly drunk all mine. Refresh drink and then [Music] Just the other side of this section, there’s some huge lakes, fishing ponds. Saw a few fishermanmen over there fishing. Big expanse right down through the other side. You can see it just over the bank of the canal. Oh, this is lovely though. Absolutely amazing. Mr. Pigeon, watch out. Oh, there’s a big tent over there. What’s that? What’s going on over there, then? Oh, looks like a They got an old um Wild West C or something like that. That’s like um maybe a camp. Could be like a camp place. [Music] Pretty interesting, I must admit. Could be kind of cyclist accommodation on route, I reckon. That’s what it looks like. to uh get a bed down there of the evening and then crack on with the cycling. [Music] I think um another thing I was thinking about was the fact that that plane the air is I think it’s about €10. So it’s a lot cheaper than the normal ones because of the uh no power situation. But for €10, um pretty good value for money to be honest. [Music] First bit of I think we’ve seen really 9.32. Okay. Oh, sorry. Look at that. That’s a bit of a squeeze, isn’t it? Wow. That’s brilliant. Excellent. Junky. Wow. Big trailer. Whoa. There he goes. Oh, there’s a camper van. Yeah. Part there. Right. We’re going to um 9.37. Yeah. So, we’re just shy of like 10 miles. So, we’re going to um go back and then we’ll have done like 20 mi today and that then we can get up the chatau later on. We were saying when we were eating the energy bars, we we could have done with um two of them. We’re getting uh getting really hungry. So, uh anyway, we’re um about to run straight back up through and then return back to base. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music]

Our plan (at the monent) is to use our 90 days and head tp Spain and Portugal via France in Feb 26. We need to use LeShuttle 'cause we both get seasick and don't want to risk 36hrs of seasickness going tp Santander.
We are on the overnight next Friday night to roscoff we carrying on with our tour of Brittany because we could not see every thing in June and back Caen cabins both ways 9 meter van 346.00
