In celebration of my hometown’s village feast 🇲🇹, I cycle through Pjazza Vittorja, Xagħra on festa morning. Known locally as Il-Bambina (Our Lady of Victories), this is one of Gozo’s biggest feasts. The square, still quiet at this early hour, is decorated with flags, banners, statues, lights and flagpoles, soon to be filled with joyful crowds later in the day. A colourful and proud display of Gozo’s festa spirit.
