I’m looking for an entry-level road bike and I’ve found some pretty great reviews for the [Triban RC120](https://99spokes.com/en-CA/bikes/triban/2020/rc120-road-bike), given its price point. For the same price and very similar geometry, I can get a [2018 Brodie Roam](https://www.brodiebicycles.com/roam).
Main differences I can see are the Triban has a carbon fork with Microshift Drivetrain, while the Brodie is all steel with Shimano Claris drivetrain.

What would you recommend between the two?
In case it matters, I’m a pretty large person at 198cm (6’6″), so if there is any additional insight for someone my size in seeking a road bike it would be greatly appreciated!
