Monday and most of France is shut. We have managed to find this open belerie. So, we’re all good to go on another 60-mi trip to Naunt. Welcome to the daily drone. Today’s drone footage comes from a nice quiet flat, well sheltered lane, which is a rarity on today’s ride. As the first half was we were either going up or down. The second half wasn’t so bad, but had lots and lots of wind to enjoy to shore was this apple tartan, which saw a strong competition from a chocolate a clair and a chocolate chip cookie. It was a major disaster today when Mrs. Crusader forgot to take a photograph of me floundering on the floor after I fell off my bike trying to start up on a steep slope. So, sadly, there’s no photo for you to enjoy. Fact of the day. Not only is our overnight stop of Na, the capital of Britany, but it’s also the birthplace of travel writer Jules Vern, who once went round the world in 80 days, although none of it was done on a bicycle. After two long days into a strong headwind, we’re both officially pooped. But hopefully tomorrow will be much easier as it’s flatter and shorter as we head out to the coast.
