Upgrading my enduro bike – shredding urban MTB freeride lines and MTB trails! I fit new parts on my enduro mountain bike then ride fresh urban freeride spots before riding fast MTB trails and jumps, what would you ride?

I fit a selection of new MTB parts to my enduro bike with the best thing being the new saddle from Ergon which is super trick before heading to Lowestoft, Suffolk in search of some new and unridden urban MTB freeride lines such as huge stair sets, technical steep lines and street riding features. Lewi Pilgrim joined me for the ride and we managed to find some of the biggest stair sets ever where we did some fast follow cam’s with the GoPro before getting a sick slow motion shot of Lewi! After exhausting the possibilities of Lowestoft we head back home and go down the local trails for a night riding session with some portable floodlights. I was mega surprised to see that my huge portable power bank was able to power these huge big lights and not waste to much power. So we set the lights up below the new hip that was recently built down the local, which was so sick. Lewi Pilgrim ended up having a huge crash so we called it day and moved on to day 2, With Lewi still aching from the slam the day before it was all down to me to shred the GHOST enduro mountain bike around my hometown. The first port of call were my local trails where I pull off some jibby tricks and fast berm smashes before finishing off the ride at a tiny pump track!

I hope you enjoy the video!

  1. Everything functions properly https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Nothing was damaged in the box aside from a decal on the fork. The decal was missing a piece of a corner but I ended up peeling them off anyways. Assembly is easy BUT make sure you tune up the derailleurs. Both the front and rear need adjusting. I'd advise going to a bike shop but I opted out and put in 10+ hours with the help of YouTube. Ended up fraying a shifter cable but all in all I learned from the experience. The Brakes work well but the front caliper needs adjusting or at least mine did because the rotor was rubbing against the pads. Make sure you swap out the seat, grips, and pedals. For the short run you'll be fine though. I've read that this bike isn't built yet for hard trails but I just need it for the city. PA has some of the worst roads and being in a mountain this was a great choice. Worth the investment!

  2. Sam, you should do another channel were you upload more content of hou you build and do stuff in the shed. you'd atract another type audience wich may be more givving than the current 😀
maybe get new ideas or builds for more shreddies 😀
