Just picked up my first vintage bike—a 1980 Motobecane Super Touring—from the local Goodwill! Excited to clean it up and keep it as original as possible, even if getting used to the down tube shifters takes time. The 27” wheels are a concern since parts and tires seem harder to find, but hoping to learn as I go. I’m new to the bike world especially these older bikes, so any beginner advice is welcome!
