A new class of bike is born. A bike that looks legal. Even though the legal power limit is 750 watts and this is 6,000 watts. There’s no denying that police in the US, UK, Australia, basically everywhere are cracking down on emotives riding in the street and riding in the trails. They’re looking for Surons, EI pros, Tarias, even Tudios. Anything that looks like a dirt bike, saying, “Oh, it’s electric. It’s not an excuse anymore.” And trust me, I miss those days. This may be the cheat code. A bike that looks totally legal, but it’s really a wolf in sheep skin because not only is it 6,000 watts, but it’s 6,000 watts on a [ __ ] mountain bike. 6,000 watts on a Suron is already enough to get you in trouble. Now, put that same power into a bike that’s five times lighter. Assembling the bike, I can tell why it’s the price of an – 3.0. The components are legit all around. I can’t see any corners being cut. You can see inside the motor like a nice watch. The copper windings are on display, but what really steals the show is this ingenious design where they mounted the pegs on a lever system that connects to the wheel. So, if you do what they call pedal, then the wheel spins without the motor. It sounds exhausting and futile. I don’t expect to do much of this so-called pedaling, but it’s a neat idea, I guess. Got some minty maxis on the front and rear. Mura MT5s with the floating rotors on the rear and front. These are brakes that lasted me a while on my Suriron. So, on this much lighter bike, they should be plenty. At your thumb, you have the drop post, which lets you pop the seat up, and then if you put weight on it, it will come back down. On the left, we also have a mode selector and a power button. On the right, we just have the front brake and a very lowprofile full twist throttle. You can hardly tell it’s there, but it twists like a dirt bike. [ __ ] a thumb throttle. The display is tucked in the center. You get three screen layouts. One of them reads your heart rate somehow. The setting screen is simple and it’s where you pop this puppy into race mode. Holy sh dude. There’s real carbon fiber all under the belly of this bike. And where it says the model name 775 MX, this is a medium frame. The respectable 65V 20 a battery fills all the available space within the frame which powers the CYC motor. You may recognize CYC from my mountain bike build video, which generated so much excitement for a high-powered electric mountain bike that they made this bike in its image just way better in every way and way more powerful. The CYC motor powers two chains with no gearing system. So, there is only one rear sprocket. Forks like this that go up to the bars, these are a little too high. I’ll adjust them down. are triple crown forks which look the best by far of any bike suspension. They give this bike its aggressive downhill look. So mean. The rear shock is robust. The linkage wraps around the frame. And we have three quick settings for open, middle, and locked. I actually got both colors, the Texas gray and the purple amethyst. It’s just too easy to order on roster rides. So, I’ll show you how to turn yours on since you don’t have the display to help you. The battery needs to be on. Hold this for like two two three seconds. And then it starts in mode zero, which is no assist. And there’s three modes. So I would just go one, two, three. Yeah. All right. So she’s she’s on. Yep. Oh. Wo. It’s got really sensitive pedal assist. If you pedal at all, it starts kicking in. I’m not going to do a lot of pedaling, though. Having a full twist throttle on a mountain bike is trippy. There’s so many mountain bikes out here. I love that we blend in like this. Dude, we’re so discreet. just ride past everybody. Tim is an XG Games dirt bike champion, so seeing him on a mountain bike is blowing my mind. But this is like a dirt bike mountain bike, so I feel like he’s in his element. Thank you, boss. Look at that passing power, dude. This thing’s [ __ ] awesome. And we’re on a trail where it’s only mountain bikes and it’s Yeah, like I was saying, it’s Karen Central. So far so good. No one bats an eye, bro. First wheelie on this thing. Oh my god. I mean, this is the dream. And this is the dream we all have when we’re kids riding bikes is like, man, I wish there was just a twist throttle on this thing. I know. I know. I made motorcycle noises every time I rode a bike pretending it had a throttle. Now I don’t need to pretend. And I actually really like the little wine it makes on the throttle, dude. Okay. It limits you at Wow. It limits you at 30 mph. And you can feel it like it gives you so much power up until 30 and then it totally gives out. I know it has more. If I wanted to tune this, I could get more power out of it, but I don’t think it needs it at all. It feels like I’m riding a Siron. If you just deleted 90% of it and you just left the soul. [Music] Yeah. These bikes are so light you can just throw it over stuff. I can’t keep up with Tim. He’s too fast. You literally get the power of a Suron. 6 kilowatt. in the frame and function of a mountain bike. A nice mountain bike, too. And a nice mountain bike, man, those can be expensive. Tim up here, he’s got an $18,000 mountain bike and it doesn’t even have a motor. Mountain bikes get really expensive. So, $5,500 for this with the motor and everything is a deal. And you can ride places like this where they hate surrounds. They never want to see them here. And having this seat adjustment is really nice because when you’re going downhill, put the seat down. When you’re going uphill, you put the seat up. And because there’s only one sprocket in the rear, you can adjust that sprocket. You can make it smaller for a higher top speed or bigger for more torque. I’m pretty happy with how they set this up. This is pedal bike speed right here. We’re following the pace of a pedal bike. So slow. They’re sick. Yes, dude. They’re so fun. They are fun. Had this much fun on a bike in a minute. So nimble and like you can control it just like a regular mountain bike. And I love the weight. I like more weight. All carbon mountain bikes with no batteries when you jump and do [ __ ] like the bike gets stuck and then your body is like waiting for it to come back where these just the center gravity like helps the bikes come back under you. What do you think about the power? It’s perfect for what we’re doing. I can’t believe it’s climbing up these hills that fast too. Like it’s getting up the hills really good and everything about it is like just smooth and consistent. I’ve never gone to hit the throttle and it’s not there. Yes. I’m glad you’re enjoying it as much as I am. This is definitely the most fun I’ve had on a pedal bike cuz you get all the joy of a lightweight mountain bike but then all the joy of a moto at your throttle. It’s just perfect. It’s so cool, bro. We’re going uphill on a mountain bike at this speed. It’s crazy. If I was on an Ride Pro 3.0 0 right now, which is my favorite lightweight Emoto. I wouldn’t be going any faster. If anything, I’d be going slower. Cuz of course, you’d compare this to the EI Pro 3.0. They’re the same price. You might be asking, why would I spend 5,500 on a mountain bike if I could spend 5,500 on an EI Pro 3.0? Oh, [ __ ] Emoto. Oh my god. What? Oh [ __ ] dude. I wonder how much battery I’m at. 83%. It’s got me thinking like if this bike was out when I was buying my first bike and I was my only choices were Siron or uh oh this is the end of the trail. My only choices at the time were Siron and the Kubberg free ride which you never see anymore. If this was a choice I guess it’s more expensive than the Suron is. So maybe I still would have gone with the Suron just cuz it’s cheaper. But this is what I was looking for. I wanted something that was discreet. didn’t quite look like a moto, but has the power to do what I’m doing right now. They’re not out here trying to replace dirt bikes. They’re not here trying to replace mountain bikes. They’re not trying to replace curons. They’re making their own bike in an industry that’s been around for this long to come out with something that really stands on its own. And this is the first of its kind. Bro, this is so fun. This is so fun. The power is unreal. and it hits jumps like [ __ ] nothing. It just takes off cuz this thing weighs like 30 lb. And any kid that’s ever ridden a bike has has wished, man, I wish there was a throttle right here, especially when you’re going uphill. So, this I’ve definitely dreamed about that. But they put a lot of money into this bike. It’s not a budget bike at all. I’m trying to see if they can make a budget version, but right now it’s only the premium stuff. I don’t like how just a little bit of pressure on the pedals kicks in the motor cuz it’s like I’m not using the pedals. They just get in the way. Like at a red light, I accidentally put pressure on the pedal and then the bike wants to run away. I wish you could keep it on just throttle mode. No pedal. I got the seat really high up right now, which makes the balance point super low, and it just couldn’t be easier to wheelie. Like, if you’re trying to learn how to wheelie, put your seat up high on a Benell. I just don’t like the name. It should be called I’m putting the seat back down. Should be called Benelli. Banell has Bono. Like what kind of It doesn’t have any ring to it. The bike’s amazing. They got to work on the name. Damn. I love wheeling pedal bikes. It’s one of my favorite bikes to wheelie as a pedal bike. Not because you’re pedaling, but because it just is light and it’s a nice balance point and you feel like you have the most control over the bike cuz it’s it weighs nothing. So then to have the feeling of a pedal bike with the power of a CR on and not having to break a sweat, it’s the best of both worlds. And I I there’s no way I’m getting in trouble on this thing. You can get both of them on roster. I haven’t been this excited about a new bike in a very long time. It’s the perfect bike. You get that mountain bike factor. You get that siron snap. This thing climbs hills like they’re nothing. It serves face. It’s got a nice balance point. It hits the trails better than anything. And nobody’s batting an eye. So, you can ride this anywhere.
