I'm trying to mount this Schwalbe Magic Mary 29×240 onto this 622×28 rim.
I'm using a Topeak booster and I lubricate the rim with soapy water.
The problem is, like 99% of the tyre will set, but a squirm always seem to stay in it where the beads won't jump into place properly.
If I try anything at this point the tyre will either deflate or if I add pressure it pops out of the rim with a loud bang. I'm actually afraid of damaging it since I've than that so many times by now…
Any ideas? Bike shops are only open tomorrow and these are all the tools I have.
