It’s Saturday and we’re in France on the way to Milb Bao. So, welcome back to the daily drone or BN vu or drawn quatten as we say in these parts. Today’s drone footage came from a nice bit of cycle path. It’s one of the few pleasant bits of road we cycle today as most of it was on fairly busy roads and into a strong headwind. We always knew today would be the hardest day as we aimed to get to the coast the day after tomorrow. However, the highlight of the day was when we went into the central Rens for lunch and it was buzzing. It even had a merrygo round for us to enjoy. We both took the opportunity to practice our French. Mine more limited than Mrs. Crusaders, but on every occasion, the replies always came back in English with the look of we don’t get paid extra for French lessons. You know, at the end of the day, there were a couple of unwelcome hills for us to get over. And after 60 mi into that headwind, we absolutely pooped and ready for pizza and a very welcome beer. Tomorrow looks a fairly similar day as we head south for 60 mi into a similar looking headwind and finish in the city of Na before finally heading west the next day towards the coast.
