Hello everyone, I just arrived in Nice, France As usual, I booked a car in advance to feel comfortable
No need to worry about finding the way back to my hotel As soon as I landed, Travelthru had a car ready for me The driver was holding a sign with my name, very polite The space inside is spacious for me I can even lie down, no need to sit
There’s water prepared too My friends have asked me a lot about traveling in Europe
It’s better to book private transfers for safety Recently, there’s been some concerning news in Europe
So having a driver and private car feels safer Especially if you travel with kids or have a lot of luggage
Booking a car is the best option In Europe, each city charges a tourist tax It depends on different areas
In Nice, it’s 3.48 EUR per person per night I booked this hotel near the airport From here to the city center is just about 2 kilometers This area is convenient for me to visit Saint-Tropez, Cannes, and Monaco
That’s why I stay in Nice From the airport to Nice Old Town, you drive along the seaside boulevard
It’s called Promenade des Anglais, built in the 19th century by the English That’s why it’s named the Promenade of the English The beach here isn’t sandy, it’s full of smooth, round pebbles
Locals are very proud of this difference In summer, everyone comes down to the sea
Swimming, sunbathing, walking, cycling It’s such a summer vibe I was born in May, so I’m a summer person
Anything related to summer, I love, like the beach, palm trees, tropical sunshine If you follow me, you’ll know I always prioritize choosing resorts and beaches The atmosphere here feels so relaxed This road stretches about 7 kilometers
The driver told me that, and it’s crowded with people I have to take some photos Now I’m heading into the Old Town The driver told me to visit the flea market It’s my first time in Nice and I’m already in love I think from now on, I’ll try to come here every summer
The vibe is cheerful, people are relaxed and happy The driver even moved from Paris to live here
Because people in Nice are so happy They’re happy and easygoing, so they’re not aggressive or angry at all I was so fun that I didn’t realize
The houses are even colorful and beautiful The market has paintings, souvenirs, and so many things to see Some shops don’t allow photos, but walking past to look at it is fine Cute little things There are restaurants where you can sit and enjoy a meal They sell everything here I think these are antique books, so beautiful I used to be crazy about home decor items
Especially vintage, artistic pieces like flowers, paintings, chandeliers, and ceramics But now my house is too full, I can’t buy more
In the past, I wanted to buy everything home Look at these cute little jewelry items in the box France is famous for lace, too Even napkins are beautifully made So many pretty things, it’s overwhelming Some shops feel like they’re selling second-hand treasures
Items from their homes, priced very affordably, just a few euros These are second-hand items for sure If you like collecting European vintage pieces, this is paradise This little one costs 80 EUR So cute, small, and delicate This is summer heaven Southern France is here The sea temperature in summer is about 24°C
Not as warm as Vietnam or Asia That’s why people swim a lot in summer here But the driver said the seabed is rocky
So, swimming isn’t as comfortable as tropical beaches in Asia Tropical beaches in Asia are really amazing Here, the colors of umbrellas, cafes, and people’s outfits
I don’t know how to say… Together, they create such a picturesque summer scene Of course, I had to try my favorite dish, escargot I finished the other 2 dishes
And we’re moving to the main course This is slow-cooked duck thigh The food here is really good When you’re in Europe, try something different
Not just pizza or pasta, but frog legs and duck It’s delicious but pricey Around 40 to 50 EUR for a main dish But honestly, very worth it This piece is super crunchy The duck thigh was so good We also ordered some pasta to fill up The city tour bus here is fun It stops at 11 locations Two-day tickets for two people cost 48 EUR

It’s fun to try once, but not really my taste The best time to visit Nice is from May to September That’s the best season, but also high season with high prices The kids can have summer break, and their parents usually take them here The driver recommended September
Because kids go back to school It’s the end of the summer, and the weather is not too hot and sunny The weather is cooler Prices are better
So it’s the best to travel to Nice in September, I just know that recently From October to April, it’s the rainy season here It doesn’t get too cold, though
Because this area is sunny all the time There’re 2 coldest months at the temperature reaches 10°C Now I’m in Saint-Tropez The way here is near that drive should have taken 1.5 hours, but it took 3 hours

And especially linen clothes, they seem to love this material Today, I covered up fully because I don’t want to get too tanned Yesterday, after the beach, my face was very burned Here, men wear mostly linen clothes Women seem to prefer floral dresses, colorful ones And woven sedge items Here, unlike Nice, there are many yachts and luxury boats Nice has more beaches, this place has the harbor Here we go, crossing a small shopping street

It’s in the center and closer to other cities, too But if you want luxury, glamor, then choose Saint-Tropez
Though more expensive Both food and shopping are a lot more expensive If it’s your first time, I think you should stay one night in each to experience both This is my first time in the South of France
