Took the Rocket out for a run through Epping Forest, stopping off at the legendary Original Tea Hut. This place has been serving bikers, walkers, and locals since the 1930s, and it’s a proper slice of motorcycling history.
Plenty of bikes, plenty of chat, and of course a good cuppa and snack before hitting the forest roads again. A simple ride, but one every biker in Essex should do at least once.

Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat [Music] up here. [Music] Heat up here. [Music] [Music] Yes. Off. Hello. So, I’ve uh stopped here for a while. Had a good chat with a couple of old boys. Uh riding a an old Sunbeam S7 and an old Royal Enfield. Had a very nice bucker can. Reasonable price about 8 quid all in. Uh been a lot of bikes turning up and going. Um quite a few Harleyies, sports bikes, nice Blackbird, some newer ones as well. It’s been Yeah, it’s been a good trip. So, I think I’ll be here again. The roads are a bit busy, but it is a bank holiday weekend. [Music] That was an enjoyable stop. had a good chat with some some BS. There’s a pub with an oyster bar. Probably that oyster bars quite famous and very popular. We’ll do that one day. I do like the odd oyster. Apparently, the original tea hut is a popular spot for uh classic bike enthusiasts. There are quite a few there today. Quite a few turn up regularly, so I’m told. There’s also quite selection of Harleyies, sports bikes, uh other things. Seems like quite an interesting place. Bit fuzzier than um French field. Apparently Wednesday’s the day to go if you’re into classic bikes. I was told that the older guys turn up on a a Wednesday during the day. So yeah, I enjoyed the original tea up. It’s an empty forest. They only take cash. That’s an important point. What you doing? Well, if you enjoyed today’s visit, like and subscribe. Hopefully, we’ll find somewhere else to go soon. [Music]
