Hi, I’m a Carer for my Wife who has Multiple Sclerosis. As a keen cyclist, I’ve decided to use my passion for something worthwhile. I cycle around Kent a couple of days a week for fitness since spring 2022 streaming my rides on twitch. So I thought I’d include raising funds for Multiple Sclerosis Society Charity.

So, I was meant to go to a different area today, but I started the stream too late. I was up a bit too late last night practicing practicing for this in this evening and I should be practicing again today but you know I think recycling comes us especially we’ve got sunny days and still nice enough to um short sleeves morning bread and butter pudding. You know, even though I do get it wrong. Yeah, it is easier just to say the Twitch name. cuz yeah, although cycling is a bit aimless aimlessly just going along pushing your your feet around. You got all the other obstacles like these cars and then this one squeezing past making sure it’s not getting too close. The other one that’s coming the other way. It’s a lot of sensory reflexes going on. Uh I decided to go down not this way I don’t think. Hang on. Uh, I did have a plan to the to the um to the main town of this county which is Maidstone and into the big park there. Maidstone’s a really nice place. It’s got some architecture going on in the town. And I should have started at Rochester Castle really, but we’ve missed that. That’s the other way. I think this is be the first time I’ve actually ridden on this road. I normally take the back streets, you know. And it’s a bit windy. You can You can’t wait to see it. It must be late for you there. What? 11:00. Uh, if I can give you a time scale, about an hour and a half maybe. Don’t know. It could be could be a little bit sooner, but don’t hold your breath. 10 past 10. Oh, okay. I say okay. So today I was going to go to uh in in towards London, but not as far just be on the outskirts. But we’re going to have to save that for another day next week maybe cuz I did plan to leave at 9:00 this morning. Uh Kimoot says it’s 7 hours. 7 hours and that’s not stopping. That’s without any technical issues going on with the stream like yesterday. So, not only I’ve got to get up for tomorrow cuz I really want to do that. It was windy up here the morning and cold. So when you’re taking photos of a planet or the moon, I don’t know if it actually works with the moon. No, it’s nebulas. nebulas uh you know like uh clusters of old galaxies. Uh yeah, you take a photo, then you take another one, then you take like 50 photos. Let’s say it was of um there’s a a nebula in Orion’s belt. You know, the three stars, they should be seen soon. um or the horse nebula, the horse head nebula, which is quite a good one. Hi. You would um you would stack them all on top of each other. I tried a cheat one time. I got a really good photo of the Orion Nebula and then I thought, “Okay, I’ll just duplicate it like 30 times and then stack it.” But it doesn’t work. You can’t do it like that. cuz the stacking process recognizes it’s the same image. Okay. The last two summers ruined by California and Canadian fires. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah, I can understand the Cali one, but Canadian Canada should be right, mate. Yeah, by stacking the photos it brings out more detail, but I don’t know if you do it with the moon. Don’t think so. Yeah. So, that’s ruined your day then or week for go cycling them. You need some wind. Blow it all away. And our little British lad Norris, he had a engine failure last week. So he didn’t score any points. So it was pretty close in points until last week. So he needs to redeem himself. And uh Pastry needs to have a little I don’t know mechanical or something to gain it all back. So it’s going to be touch and go. There is a medium bike race today. Couple hundred miles. The amount of um buses that I used to draft when I was living in London used to come home. My nose was black. Black snuts is not good. I would definitely wear some sort of headgear because you you don’t have to have a traditional helmet these days. You can get a helmet that looks like a beanie. I don’t know what you use, but he says that uh when he wears his helmet, it um it pushes your head forward because of the headrest. I don’t know how his legs are today, but he was pushing it and he had to get back home. I left I left him up at Blue Bell Hill and he said he’s going to make a canopy for it. Rebels from Kent and Essex under what? Under what? Tyler and John Ball marched on London to make a stand against the pole tax leveled by Richard II. Oh, I thought that was Maggie’s thing. The rebels cap wages and rising taxes over the preceding decade had created discontent among both architectural laborers, agricultural laborers, and the urban working classes. This growing tension exploded in June 1381. And by the end of the 5th of June, Maidstorm was involved. John B was freed from incarcination Mason Ash Palace. And according to the chronicle, it was here that Taylor was warted the rebels rebellion’s leader. Oh, and then they made a film out of it called Star Wars with a rebellion’s leader. London’s Burnham. After storming Canterbury, the rebels marched on London, entering the city on the 13th. In London, rebels destroyed government records and burnt major landmarks such as the Seavoy Palace. Despite attempts of the king to negotiate on the 14th, the rebels were able to force the surrender of the Tower of London for the only time in history. Oh, Sir Robert Hills, who were held responsible for the pole tax, were beheaded. Hang on. The chancellor, Archbishop Simon of Sudbury, and the treasurer, Sir Robert Hills, were beheaded.
