Hello and welcome to highlights of stage three of the Lloyd’s tour men. From Milton Kees to Amped Hill, 122.8 km awaited the riders. Olaf Koy taking a 14 sec second advantage over Tom Crab into the stage. Sam Watson third at 16 seconds. It was on paper very much a day for the sprinters. The riders with the rain jackets on early on. They had a 10 km neutralized section and as soon as the flag was dropped, it was Balcommer of the team of Little Trek who was the first attacker of the day. Mateo Trenton also tried his hand to get away, but it would be Casper Pison of the Sud Quickstep team that eventually made clear with Matt Vendles of Iikipo Karn Farmer, Ben Chilton of the Great Britain National Team, and Robin Huavo of TUDA Pro Cycling. Penison’s day in the breakaway wasn’t without drama, though. He needed a front wheel change and waited for his team car, but it was an F1 level wheel change for the Sudal Quickstep team. Hats off to his mechanic and he was quickly back and in the breakaway. Team Vizma Lisa Bike doing a great job on the front to control things for Olaf Koy. Sketchy moment in the breakaway. They were all safely through though. Ben Chilton and Casper Ped deep in conversation. The gap never really going over a minute. Vizma Lisa Bike have kept the breakaways very much under control, not really giving them much rope. We went on to the sprint and North Hiller. 56.6 km to go and it was Matt Venzel of K Farmer who took the 3 seconds ahead of Ben Chilton with Vuavo taking the one. We would then move on to the King of the Mountains point at Hilloot. That would come with 47.1 km to go. Just a short climb today as they came to the summit. Chilton thought he had it in the bag. Fovo quick challenge on the line but the Great Britain national team rider managing to take the four points at the top. On to the second sprint and it was the Akipo K farmer rider yet again Matt Vendles from Luxembour took the three bonus seconds. Plenty of the sprinters teams though trying to keep control over the front of the Pelaton. Benzels took the maximum points on the second descent of Hilloot. Chilton though taking three and it meant that he would pull on the King of the Mountains jersey at the end of the day. Uni Titar Rockets Axel Hun was the next rider to go on the attack. He tried to make it across to the breakaway. He didn’t make it. Pison and Fuvo wanted to be the last riders standing from the breakaway group. Remco aanapole of Sudal Quickstep looking to try and mix things up. He took a dangerous break off the front. The alarm bells would have been ringing loud but as they came in towards Antill. It was a bunch sprint as they went through the Flam Rouge. It was a tight technical run up towards the finish with a righthander up a little climb and an almost downhill finish. Uni Tita Rockets were controlling things, but it was Eduardo Afini with Olaf Ko in the green jersey and Matthew Brennan third wheel in the yellow for the team of Vizma Lisa Black. They’ve come into this race saying they were working for Koi on the opening two days and would give Brennan on a chance on stage three and that is what they were doing. Alberto Dionese, the save of the day for the TUDA Pro Cycling rider. He was not giving up that position. It was the right turn and it was Dianazy’s teammate Mateo Trenton that launched the Pelaton up the climb. Olaf Koi taking over. And by this point, there was just five riders in contention. The overall leader leading out is 20-year-old British teammate who came off the wheel. And Matthew Brennan takes stage three and with it some bonus seconds which will do his GC ambitions. No harm at all. Perfect lead out from Koi. Hoey Olivera getting up there for UAE. Alberto Dionesei comes through to take second with Hostetta and Milan of Lotto in the top five. [Music] Another green jersey for Olaf Koy here in the Lloyds Tour of Britain. He will take that as we go to a hillier parkour tomorrow and head towards Burton Dacet Country Park. So Olaf Koy takes 10 seconds into stage four ahead of teammate Matthew Brennan. Dianazy at 14 moves up to 18 seconds down in 10th.
