Another Banger of a stage, 3 Categorized climbs with the final one taking the riders up the La Farrapona. It may not be as hard as the L’Angliru stage however there are lots of opportunities on this stage for fireworks. The first 60km offers lots of launching points for the breakaway opportunists. Mads will be working hard to secure more green jersey points and another whack of KOM points are available. GC action will light up on the uphill finale.
