Can we even make it? Do we manage camping in the hotspot for illegal migration in Calais? Four countries, we’re in for a crazy time.

Here we are in St. Michael’s Mountain. So, having made it to Cornwall in almost 3 days, it’s a bad sign of trying to do Amsterdam in one. Judging by our performance, we’re thinking about Amsterdam not being done in 24 hours, elapsed time, but moving time. You see, what we’re talking about is not including the brakes in the limit. With time limits out the window, the new plan is to see Belgium for what it’s really got. As we’ve seen Cornwall here and had a nice time, it’s time to take it to Amsterdam. And now that we’ve made these changes to Amsterdam, how do we even know if we’re going to make it? Only one way to find out. [Music] It’s a downhill out of southeast London. This is it. I must be in Kent by now. And we’re coming up to Maidstone. That is halfway to do. [Music] Maid stone. First stop off. First sip of water. And of course Guinness. Bit of black currant in there. Bit of sugar. [Music] 100 kilometers into England. That’s in 4 hours 20 plus a stop off in Weatherspoons. Ferry is coming up sooner or later. It’s just time to get a few hills done and then the flat lands of France, Belgium, and Netherlands. Especially our [Music] Jeez. [Music] [Music] Woo! Wa! Yo! And look, that’s France. No. Yeah. [Music] And here we are in Dober. Let’s make it to the ferry. So that was definitely pacey. We got 85 miles in less than 6 hours. going to be in the middle of the night only now. [Music] Let’s see. [Music] Yeah. What you going to Cal? It looks like you’re camping. Yeah. In a bivie bag or what? You got bi free water bottles. Yeah, this is all camper. No, camp is here. And this and so it’s minimum like pump cream and uh also clothes everything you need. That’s it, bro. [Music] And done. Home sweet home. All right. Come on. We had police all up in our stuff and then they were checking to see if we were illegal migrants. Good [ __ ] really. I think they’re stepping up their game, too. And this is a hot topic at the moment. So, but the thing is that you obviously can’t film that. And now all I can do is just say it and you have to believe me. But there you go. That was a good night. We did get searched by police though. Just trying to make sure we don’t go England. It’s good to see firsthand what’s actually going on. We’re packing up to do France, Belgium, Netherlands. What a day it’s going to be. Setting off for the first French day. No hills at all to Amsterdam and about 190 miles to get there. [Music] Everything opens at 11 on a Sunday. We’re going to have to wait around. No, I think this baguette place is open. Here we are in Dunkerk. And let’s get that. We got Pistachio Clair in Dunkerk. Let’s go to Belgium, man. Can’t be that long away. Maybe 20 miles. Let’s go. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. The beach prominard isn’t that good for Santiago’s moped here and I’ve been pacing it anyway so I can’t on Yeah. Hey, is it It looks like a horse. [Music] So, there’s a lot of restaurants and that down there. Supermarket is probably closed. Why are you chasing cars, bro? anything. We’re not in a rush. This long. Not long of Belgium left. Approaching the Netherlands. Crazy. Fourth and final country. [Music] [Applause] Yo jeez. Tease is really getting paced on this adventure, isn’t he? [Music] Now we’re in the Netherlands breast at the ferry port. There’s Vissingan. So, we’re camping out waiting for our 700 a.m. ferry. Really, our cycles are going to look a bit like this. So, not a lot of land. [Music] Yeah. Yeah. They speak English. Yeah. Yeah. What do you mean? Yeah. You don’t know what she said, man. Well, I thought she said you have a ticket for that. Yeah. Oh, okay. [Music] We’re moving already. It’s time to make Amsterdam. [Music] Yeah, bits. Mad bit of coffee right there. But it’s all the milk that will make it not feel too strong. There’ll still be a buzz to it, though. to just give Santiago about half a liter or whatever it is and then give him some coffee as well. I’m going to be able to pour that in. Oh yeah. This is that pate. It’s more like a block. [Music] Hi. No, we’re okay. Yeah, we just Thank you. Thanks for checking. [Music] We’ve got 105k to go to Amsterdam. Stopping off now because it’s midday sun. It’s a bit hot. You want to see what how many leads is in the tank? The two front ones, the bigger ones are 2,000 L and then we got 4,000 L tank. We do a core range in the big ones and then we do all the experiments in the smaller ones. It’s 100% local grown barley. The mixed fermentation. This is the sake quad. So it has uh first we made the cooji rice. Yeah. Uh you take the rice and you’ll uh infect it with some kind of cultivated fungus which helps to break down the starch to keep you awake. It’s a imperial coffee stout. Yeah. Um from a we used coffee from a local uh coffee roaster. Look at the percentage. Yeah, I learned. Yeah, I had a talk with with an English brewer and he said, “You continentals are alcoholics, mate. This is going to be like Guinness, but um stronger and coffee and better. Only 100 kilometers more. You got this.” Yeah. She to [Music] Let’s go. Let’s make it. Let’s imagine I told you, “Oh, you know what? I was thinking of doing exactly this and I ask you how how did the third day feel? How would you say it felt? You just got to smash it all. 100 miles a day for 3 days. Is that doable for a normal person? You think if you want to pace it, you get a little bit more time to camp. And if you don’t, then just have a bit less time there. But you’ll be all right. What happened? [Music] [Music] in lightened. How much longer? We got 40k. 40k is um 24 miles or something. So, we haven’t got a long run for today. Come on. [Music] Yes, that’s Amsterdam in 3 days. Yes. Come on, Amsterdam. That is a bit of work. Ah, it’s good to be here. 3 days really goes by. What an adventure. Come on. Ah, Amsterdam. Yeah, there it is. And we’re calling it a day. 292 and 1/2 miles. Yeah. Hi, man. Hello. [Music]
