[Music] [Applause] You have a number. Yes, you do. I can describe it as a combination of four or five different houses. Wow, I love it. That window is this window is over there. What it delivers for the price is just insane. [Music] Hi guys, today I am with Theodorina, our local expert in one of the most beautiful villages of the Vienn, which is in southeast of France. We are in Nova. Yes, we are. And uh you have no idea guys what is behind those walls and behind that door. So Toorina, you’re going to tour us and showcase this amazing property. Believe me, there’s a lot of secrets. Let’s have a look. First about the house. We are talking about this area as being one of the quietest in the village. But just two centuries ago this was the busiest marketplace probably not only in Sheru but in the area. Yes. Because oh we we before we enter this is the the Mary of the village Mary. Uh and we are on an elevated position overlooking the church. There’s also a bell tower. You’ll see in a minute. But there is a another marketplace uh a whole exactly market all from the 16th century. This is the 16th century. One of the special places to visit here in Sheru are two. One is the market, the covered market which is uh built in 16th century. 50 pillars are keeping this roof on a a frame of wood that is original. And a little bit further from the market is the tower, the bell tower. The bell? No, it’s actually the lantern tower. The lantern is part of the abbey that was uh built here in the 8th century. Wow. Uh we’ll tell you more. Survived a long because there’s a lot of things linked to this linked to the We will see that. We’ll see that. Let’s have a look. Let’s have a look. So, Theodorina, before we enter, uh is it part of the house? This uh this this door there, what is it? The short answer is yes, it is. But there are many more things to discover when we enter the house. Okay. surprises. I’m following you. Yes, it is a Bas house and it has been a home for families in this area for centuries. I’m not going to Usually we knock. The door is open and here is the hallway. Wow. Incredibly large and spacious with uh the original staircase restored by the owners. Oh, I like that. And the big surprise on the floor again, centuries old stone work. So it’s original, the door. Can we have a look at that door? I mean, the door is uh Oh, wait. It’s beautiful. At least two centuries old again. Metal and very thick wood. The owners of this house. That’s a big lock. The owners of this house like every detail. They deserve it. They do have the key. key. This big key. Oh my god. Okay, so this is the hallway. Uh let’s have a look. Uh left on the left. Okay, I’m following you. The entertainment and uh a beautiful living room. It’s bright with a lot of light, a center of music, the grand piano which goes with the house really to the next owner. Wow, it’s historical piano. Oh my god, it’s lovely storage area. I love this large large storage areas with the grand doors. It’s really bright and airy. Oh my. Oh, again you you’re absolutely certain that it is original. Where we are is dry and wood get preserved for long long time. Working fireplace. So I think it’s a 19th century fireplace. Beautiful marble. They kept everything. The moldings up there are preserved as well. The details, details, details are all captured, preserved, restored with a lot of love and care. So, we’ve got one, two, three uh glasses. Lots of storage here, there. Nice fireplace behind the doors as well. Storage area. So, that’s the first surprise. So, there’s just one main building or more in that house. There are more than one buildings and we will be discovering them one after another. Okay. Uh but now let’s move further in the house. We have uh a reception room. I would say the office area for me which is an office with a large library that can be extended. How many square meters are we visiting today? Oh, we are visiting 300 plus and this this but we’re talking only about the house. Yes, because there’s more than that. And there is more and I’m not counting the attic. Can we go there first? Let’s see the kitchen. The kitchen with I love those stones. Look at the reflection of the light. Wow. And the stones also have history behind them because this house together with many other houses in Sheru sadly sadly have been built by material from the old abbey the abbey of Sheru. I have heard that they dismantled it. uh I think this revolution then the process was stopped after after half a century after the revolution already have created a lot of uh changes in the area and uh also the stones are really beautiful they are the size of the stones is showing that they come from the from the abbey that’s a beautiful so we have a dining area we have the lounge area and this uh California style kitchen with the large cabinets. It’s comfortable. Look at this. Plenty of space. Very cozy. The square is in the facing the front of the house. But here we are on the garden courtyard side. We’ll see that in a minute. How large is that room? 52 square m again. Oh, same as the other one. And uh even we can see. Ah. Oh my god. We can see the this is the room. Yeah. The room before the restoration. That window is this window is over there. The thing is, you won’t believe the price of that property. And once we finish visiting it, I’m absolutely sure you’re going to love it and you will want to view it for real because what it delivers for the price is just insane. I was surprised. We won’t mention it now. It’s all in the link below the video that leads to our website. But I was shocked all you get for the price it is listed at. Shall we go outside? I’m following you now to the first courtyard. So from outside also go that’s so I love that. Look at this. It is the T- shape which is very attractive because creates the coziness of this courtyard. That’s I love that courtyard. You have your barbecue area some out buildings there. Wow. Wow. Wow. Uh a lot of light actually most of the day during the afternoon. This is beautifully sunny and comfortable to meet friends, to chat, to have your coffee, to read your book. I have a question. Incredible. Is this a well? This is an old well. Is it working? I mean um there is water but uh it is not usable probably for gardening. Ah we you can put a pump on it. Yes. And just use the water for your vegetable. So when we started that uh that tour I mean I have to admit I toured the place already. you’re discovering it with us now. You think, “Oh, there’s a tiny garden, but it’s not the case.” And it’s like a maze. So many surprises to come. You’ll see. That area is probably the most interesting part, but we’ll keep that for later on. Right now, this house has layers and layers. Areas are small sanctuaries on this large piece of property, more than 5,000 square meters. 5,572 m. Oh my god. You don’t feel it. You don’t feel it because it’s made to create comfort and maybe follows the tradition of the old abbey. Can we have a look at that garden? You this beautiful gate. I 19th century. Uh I love I love the shape of these metal parts here and lovingly preserved. Good thing you were mentioning the Abbe. I have to say uh we are in an area which is beautiful. You have a CR on one side. Beautiful village. You have no valley. Yes. Incredible places with the chat family. Very close. Very close. And lots of um lots of restaurants there. The Chat Larbuko was owned by the same family for more than 1,000 year. Oh, that’s a beautiful garden. I can see some apples there. Growing apples. We will we have we will have them in September. They will be ready. Yes. The raised beds of the vegetable garden. That’s interesting because uh when you look at the courtyard from the lounge, you think it’s a small tiny courtyard and garden, but in fact, look at that. It’s quite massive continues into a park. A park. We have a private park. Ah. [Music] Wow, it’s beautiful. Don’t tell me that this is part of it. Oh, continues. But I want to show you the view from here. Wow. A hidden small window to the church. And if you go a little bit further down, you will see the bell tower. Now, are you ready for the climb? Wow, it’s not so steep. That is what I mentioned about the network of water sources. Ah, it’s water inside under the stone. I I’ll try try to drop something. Yes, it’s it’s water. Wow. Woo. And it’s a maze. A maze of um waterways created. It’s like 10 m deep, guys. Oh, I I can see the Let me try to zoom in. Oh my god. Ah, and that is the backup. It’s incredible. So, this is part of it. Yes. This little Yes. tower. Wow. I love it. I would create the most romantic uh bed bedroom. All right. So, this is a folly. Okay. There’s a lot of work, but guys, it’s level. It’s worth the work. Rent that and you’re guaranteed to be booked all year round. Al, let’s go back to the house. There’s so much to see. Now before you go further to the other floors, I suggest we go after the hidden treasuries behind this door. So you can enclose you can fully enclose that uh courtyard. And you have another courtyard. Oh, look how beautiful. Uh this is a barn with the garage here. This two and that beautiful building is partially storage. And here is where the horses were living in the past. It’s just like we’re stepping back in time. Yes, it is centuries ago. This is the capsula and we are back in time. This is where the horses were. Still you can you can see some elements where nothing has been changed the beams and everything. Nope. And they are very much in good good condition and strong. You could make anything in this. Anything is possible. So how large is this? Two two floors in fact. Two doors. Two floors. Uh the staples are 140 square m footprint. So you can double it. Oh my god. That’s huge. You’re telling me that this is part of it as well? Yes. A barn. Oh, that’s the that’s the main door we saw from the entrance coming to the square. So, that’s a beautiful door. That’s a beautiful gate. So, you could enter here without disturbing the main house owners. Totally independent. Look at this courtyard. How glorious it is. And this so you have a garage and oh my god, original stone work. We are talking about like what three 400 square m total additional to the original house with its large space. Someone with a bit of imagination could do a fantastic job out there. But the house itself is absolutely brilliant. Okay. So, Theodorina, is that it for the out buildings? We’ve seen everything. Nope. We have additional area which has been hidden all the time. I didn’t see that one. Another door to another. That’s so nice. Look. Grapes small refuge grapes guys. Beautiful. This is the garden. Wow. With a small garden building. A sort of mini chapel or something like that. Did you hurry up? No. Yes. Yes. Are you telling me this is again part of the property? So that is the so-called jet. Ah. Um it is very independent as you see has its own courtyard. Uh has a kitchen, living room, bathroom quite spacious. And on the second floor is uh a bedroom. Shall we go to the main house now? Is it ready now? Yeah, I am. All right. I am. You tease me a lot. [Music] Okay, now we can start with the next floor. Let’s go. The well restored staircase leads us to this semif floor. Yeah, because there’s additional floors. We’ll see in a minute. It is above the kitchen, living room, and dining area. Ah, it’s a workshop. I can see artistic paradise. This is the work workshop area for uh the artist. Um, now we go to the living room, lounge, uh, where people who attend the classes of the current owner. It’s a sort of apartment in fact that it is an apartment. Yes. This whole area again could be separated and be quite independent. The next uh room is the music room. Ah, artist again. Ah, so painting. I can see Tama is a drum drum kit. Some piano. Yes, the kids uh have become musicians as artists as well. Oh yeah, you could make a cabin a sort of a recording uh cabin here. No problem. Yes, you would easily insulate it. Now we enter the bedroom and sitting area the mezanine medanin with the skylights. Yeah, as you said, I mean that that would be that would be a nice apartment. Okay, where do we go? We go to the next level. Level after level. Okay, so this is uh the quiet bedroom and bathroom part of the house. We have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One large, spacious, very light, beautiful bathroom here shared for these two bedrooms. [Music] [Music] Hello. Uh last floor. I know there’s two additional floor. Two more. Let’s go. But uh one is uh with bedrooms. So we are entering this last floor with bedrooms. There are two bedrooms. one on my left and one through the corridor. Everyone has a bathroom. [Music] Have we seen everything? If you want to see the attic. Oh, yes. We can have a quick look at the attic. Oh my god, that’s huge. We have lights again. You could do That’s crazy. Easy to convert it to, I don’t know, a cinema room. Oh, yes. Or a viard room or Yeah. Let’s go downstairs. Let’s go there. So, Theodorina, how could we summarize this place? Well, this is the most unique house probably in Sheru. It is a hidden treasury. I can describe it as combination of four or five different houses. One of them, the large building here behind me is uh beautifully renovated with every detail you can imagine with a lot of care for history and for the spirit of this home that has transitioned through many many centuries. The house is beautifully located. It is exclusive to Leit available only through me is welcoming its uh new owners. I should not forget to mention the gardens with the unique park which also is not something to easily find around in real estate.
