Exmouth to Budleigh Salterton e-bike ride NCR2

I did this ride on 2nd June 2025 and it was my last bike ride before I had my third hip replacement (I could cycle better than I could walk!). I cycled from my home in Weston-super-Mare to the railway station and hopped on the train to Exeter, where I changed to the Exmouth train, which is a lovely journey in itself. I took National Cycle Route 2 to Budleigh Salterton, which is mainly on the old railway line. I sat and had lunch (purchsased at the M&S store outside Exmouth station) on the front before retracing my steps back home, a round trip of just over 13 miles on gentle terrain. It was a lovely day out.
