++ Endlich wieder unterwegs! Wir haben ein echtes Campingplatz-Juwel gefunden! 🤩 ++

Giuls & Markus

hello and a warm bonour from France after the last video, so many of you asked where we would be, it really looked fantastic and it wouldn’t have been exaggerated with fighters like God in France and yes, we’ll tell you now where we are stand and show you the place and the surroundings we are standing in the Gorge du Verdon that is called Verdon Gorge directly on the Verdon so that means I can now take a stone here and throw it into the water and it is simply wonderful it is impressive the Jeonon Gorge is one of the largest canyons in Europe is 21 km long and up to 700 m high and it is really impressive and we stand beautifully in it so after 4 5 6 km it starts in Kastellan Kastellan Kastellan and we are now on road 11 km away in the air maybe 56 or so and it’s just wonderful and we’ve only been here for a little over a week and it feels like we ‘ve been here for four weeks so relaxed in total only two weeks on the road for us nothing as you know super relaxed even though we worked a lot and it’s so impressive also the natural spectacles that the river level is rising again and really impressive and we’ll show you the place now and I would say don’t wait for long now [music] it starts as they say in advance Gor dudor Jul just got me I’m always verdon so you can be happy I don’t Gorg so and we really felt like going again because we walked past us in the summer, I don’t know if it was the same with you So January February March April May June July August Yes, we were told that summer is over, we have to go again and said then to more southern climes and then, as you may have seen in the last video, we drove over to Switzerland via the Emmental and Jules I was looking for a place in nature and we said on our first camping trip together, we were also in the south of France and said we had to look at it, but we didn’t make it there because we were so excited, so man, look and there’s running water here Caravan and we were really excited when we were on the road Marcel hi Marcel so first camping tour with caravan first longer camping tour with caravan and then we just didn’t go any further because we were in S REM and exactly and that’s why we said I then said hey to Markus Late summer let’s go to the Gor gorchdü village now you’ve already infected me and then and then I looked for places because we said okay, we definitely want to stand by the water and it should be natural and then I found this place and so Quite a classic campsite exactly and Markus was convincing when I said Markus we can stand right on the river and I wasn’t expecting anything bad and said okay classic campsite parzilied and so on and then we come here to this middle of Mang right in nature on the river it’s wonderful and we’ve had it ever since it’s just so beautiful we sat here for lunch with a view of the river we did yoga really the highlight with everything on [music] river really beautiful and there are river places here at this campsite and I Say, normal pitches that aren’t directly on the river and the river pitches really excite me because you’re really standing right on the river, there’s no dune in between, there’s no fence in between, right on the water, yes, and that’s how you would stand up there, yes There is a place where you look directly at the bend in the river. I think it’s really good in the summer because it’s a shady place. We didn’t take that into account. First of all, the river places are so beautiful, but if you have a problem with noise Can’t do that, it won’t go away, so it won’t be turned off at 2 o’clock or in the evening or something like that, and if you’re sensitive or it always drives you to the toilet, go for the place a little further back, which are also nice and you have to So overall, both for the river pitches and for the normal pitches, they are very large, so we have seen panel vans and large mobile homes here that have long been able to park themselves You could stand sideways and you still have enough space to set up camp, so there’s something for everyone. Yes, for me it’s a downer. You’re not allowed to have a campfire. It’s a nature reserve. I can also understand that, to be honest, I’ve had it in the week and a half now, but not not We had missed two evenings because it was a bit fresher, now there was a nice campfire or something like that, but you can’t have everything, I learned that, yes, and what else you have to say about the places, you have electricity and you can really relax very very nice to choose if you want to be in the shade or if you want to be a little more shady you want to be in the sun so there’s a really free choice here so access to the river all day sun and that’s what the place looks like the places are relatively flat like that We’ve now got along well with a simple Auffkil and have now also asked motorhome owners now with the bus there was with the van or with say yes everything no problem at all yes and what I think is really nice is that it’s like that at the river places There are a few hedges and trees everywhere, which means you don’t sit like that, so I just don’t like it when you sit on a display like that and you’re really a bit hidden here, a bit on your own, and that also applies to many of the normal parking spaces Trees, lots of bushes and that’s why it doesn’t seem so messed up, it has a bit of something to it, so to say it’s free would be a bit of an exaggeration, but it does have that natural feeling because what really excites me when I look out now out of the puck and then 180° then I actually don’t see anything man-made that means I don’t see any strommas no telegrafenmas aircraft very very rarely very far left it seems to be over but one two a day or so I do n’t hear anyway and that’s so relaxed and then these Peace and quiet, of course, peace and quiet plus FL, you have to say that clearly, but I think it’s really good. Once at night we had something so high, the river has become louder, you also think the river is tepid, you don’t have to panic because there is a dam at the top and then the river is actually flooded for rafting and then you think okay because you think so yes you should raft through it I really on the first day I went to like how should you paddle here that’s way too low we like 20 30 cm the level rises then yes and then you can start rafting. By the way, you can also start rafting tours here on the site. The rafters are getting ready, that’s all nonsense. I’m jumping into the sea here and they have thick wetsuits It’s definitely a lot of fun, so those who rafted with us for a long time all looked very happy. We didn’t do [music] , but we had nice neighbors who did it and were really excited. I’m not the one who’s in Newprene for the strangers, but that’s really super practical, there’s a little hut here on the site and you can book it directly, like rafting tours like aquawing where you then walk through it, it ‘s really super easy and that’s what I’m saying The highlight for me has to be where the rafting tours started. There is also access to the river, so Beach W is exaggerated now, but you really have 20 people, you can also do it with large loungers and we did it first of all in a typical German way, you can definitely do that really great swimming so swimming on the way to the river that’s what it looks like I’m happy now counting Jules is getting ready it’s cold con age the current is great but Jules is fighting a bit – swimming it’s cold I love that when you’re at campsites where you really You can swim directly in the water, which is always a highlight for me. I love swimming, yes, and then there’s one more thing that you have to say, it didn’t bother us at all because you ‘re just doing what you’re doing here and you can hear the sound of the river on the street divides the space into two parts: an upper one, a lower one, but I think there are also a few parking spaces there Swimming pool you’ll get to it straight away. There are so many more mobile homes and small shells that you can rent. There are also a few tents. There are also tents on this site and we also met two nice people who rented a tent like that. They also have one said totally cool mega adventure there are the tents with a bathroom and then the ones without and it’s really really rustically furnished a bit like in an outback camp or a safari camp like that and I honestly said myself in between when I was so over space I always ran into the deck chairs, they had deck chairs and they were so comfortable, so I always took a quick break in between so cool, just to avoid dragging two of them into our camp and because I know that when we show places, they always ask directly about the sanitary facilities They’re big, so there are lots of showers, lots of toilets, lots of options for fun. In midsummer you don’t have to wait too long or I would also say I have to. The water is hot and has enough pressure. It’s always very important to me that the shower cubicles could be used if I could paint one Snitch may be bigger and have two more hooks, but everything is completely okay, which is still very important. I wanted to blow-dry my hair and looked for the pins and I couldn’t find them, so here I am as an old electrician. Take a look Upstairs I’ll show you where they are because here is the light and look there is the socket but otherwise you have to say also for washing up and there is plenty of warm water for people with disabilities and there is also a changing station for babies if you have little ones If you come here you have the opportunity to bathe and change your children or babies, there are washing machines and even large pools where you can basically have a hand, so that’s tip top and exactly about the area and there is also a sanitary building with the same equipment on the other side of the square, that means if you ‘re on the other side you don’t always have to walk over. On the other side there’s also the disposal for chemical toilets for cleaning, refilling water and so on Toilets, yes, Markus has a point of criticism for the toilet, so I, for example, have a development behind me, so to be honest with the home shit V, no problem, I can go anywhere, I just like having Malians with me, which now has less to do with my sensitive bottom than a lot more like this here there is this box like this, h can be pulled off at the bottom like this and then K we continue like this this also tears off what I do now with it is totally thin then I have to fold it like this now I have to fold it once with it I know but you know what I mean, I don’t have to so what do I do with it so that Origami tomorrow I ‘ll be patient and then so in that it’s not wasted now I’ll take the glasses for the next soofern I’m one of the proud toilet paper roll campsite I can R everyone knows we all digest yes I do I’ve just come from digesting a nice good morning, good morning, a good day, but you have to say that there is toilet paper, which means that’s great, then there are only sinks with mirrors in individual cubicles that you can use when you shave or so that you do that in public. Tip As I said, apart from Mark’s toilet paper criticism, there is a pool upstairs and a pool downstairs. We didn’t use the pool at the top. Yes, it was also important to us because we like to go swimming in the morning if we have the opportunity, it’s heated It’s okay now for pulling the track but you can pull it, you have to say it’s big enough5 because the pool is also important in that respect because Jul said that was a bit opfemistic, I think, go swimming in the river, especially when it’s flooded, it’s the one I would say that the current is strong now, let’s say 6-year-old kids, but the pool there is really great and this swimming area, especially when the river isn’t flooded, you can lie down and cool down a bit and so on, but swimming is more likely there now, so I would think Jules was once in where I think if you would swim now then I’ll pick you up down at the lake and but it can be such a stretch, I don’t know how long the verorchlucht is, I think it’s 21 km and it’s really impressive, so if you have the opportunity, take a really long drive down there, I know exactly what I wanted to say, exactly the place is Branch tilted in this respect, there is a road that is not very busy at all during the week, at least now in September we were on the weekend, but it is probably one of the most popular motorcycle routes and the motorcyclists in the curves, let’s say they don’t ride comfortably in third fourth gear but they already bang through and a high-revving motorcycle engine is just a high-revving motorcycle engine, but it didn’t bother me at all if you’re not really lying here and then you fall at all, but we wanted to mention that, that’s the same thing I think It’s also nice that the parking spaces are big enough and you’re not standing close together and then you can build camps so that you don’t have to put the table aside if you want to do yoga or else PL the parking spaces are partly there too different sizes because they are relatively so naturally laid out, they are now simple but yes but not with a folding rule. I’ll show you that now, but dear Joe from the reception, we started talking to them and they have such cool things to drive and I may have mentioned that I think it’s really cool and I also said I was allowed to drive, but that didn’t happen, so in any case I was allowed to go along and I just turned on the camera and you can see very clearly how the places are [music] and what I also think is really great about this place is that you can spend time on the place really, really well, both in the camp with swimming with a pool. By the way, there is also a playground that is not only suitable for children [music] can confirm yes buolbahn tennis courts slides exactly can and you can have a lounge here and there you can borrow books and stuff like that but you can also have a badminton game bull game football you can just bring it back and you also have a place here I think it’s really cool if you just have a tent If you’re traveling on a moped or something like that and say I don’t have table chairs and anything else with me then there are benches and tables at the back where you can sit down, in the lounge if it’s raining you’re with a tent you can also sit down there I think it’s already there, there’s definitely very good pizza, Joe told me, so if you like pizza you’ve come to the right place, there’s ice cream, that’s still available now, which is what I just wanted to say, you can do it really well It’s nice to spend time on the pitch with games and so on, camp swimming but you can also do so much in the area, for example we drove to Kastejan which is about 10 minutes from here and we actually just wanted to go shopping and [music] you have to Also the locals’ eating habits, you have to, you’re not allowed to, you have to, but it actually looks really tasty. I wouldn’t try a specialty and the cool thing is that it’s made from chickpea flour, water, salt and something else. I’m mega I’m excited to see what it tastes like , I can’t even imagine what’s best. The next portion is mine. Reason says let it go, no, says we’re in, so we’ve now found out I have to turn it off quickly otherwise I wo n’t get anything. Look, Markus has already eaten almost everything. I don’t know if you know some of it is n’t even okay. Guys, I have to turn it off otherwise it won’t work here and that’s what I love so much about Provence morbid charm, a bit of everything, a bit of a decay, not quite so accurate and really beautiful, you see the people living there, a lot of them, we have n’t filmed them because of course we also have privacy, but older people like to sit and drink their Pastis everywhere and you always have to think like this Savo vivre perfect so it It’s really like that and it’s transferred. They’re so relaxed. I think that’s transferred to you too I think we drove about three quarters of an hour to the paint Saint-Roix, that’s exactly where the Verdchlucht ends and that ‘s also what we BL. This is the picture you know of the Verdchlucht where the Verdchlucht ends and then the Verdon flows into this lake and there you can You just swim, the water is so wonderfully turquoise and so on, and the way there, you just drive on this street 1071 or what it is, I don’t know, I don’t want to talk nonsense, but it’s very curvy and easy to do exactly, you can let a lot of stress out if There’s someone behind you and pushing or something like that, it doesn’t matter at all, he overtakes you at some point, he dares to overtake you or something like that Mopet driver anyway hey also with excitement also with a motorhome we met a motorhome driver who came up from below I s andwi was the one driving says yes if you stop Just pay a little attention and then you’ll be fine. As long as everyone stays on their side of the median strip, everything is easy. There are two or three places that are narrower. You can only get through one way, but they’re only 10 m away or 100 m ahead These are also bays and so on, so there’s no problem. I have to say very clearly that you’ll laugh because it affected you even more than it affected me. We asked at the beginning whether the water on the site was drinking water and yes, it was drinking water But we noticed relatively quickly that the water was clogged and at the beginning we thought you could smell it straight away and we thought at the beginning, come on, they said you can drink it, we drank it, we also looked at it online, yes, it’s drinking water and so on, but I I couldn’t stand the food at all, I gave you a stomach ache and and there’s the good thing in the neighboring town there’s a supermarket 10 minutes from here. We actually just got water there for the time we had in the Instagram story A lot of you have given us tips on how to do it with a filter system. If we go on a tour to Portugal, Spain is also there. France Portugal France Spain Portugal is also always with chlorinated water. I’ll see if that’s the case Now is also a great time, I think October November is a great time to get busy with equipment and stories like that. Equipment then a lot of you also wrote to us on Instagram, hey, right on the river bank, now there are floods and so on. Yes, of course we have them keep an eye on the water level, also the reception, by the way, yes, there is an evacuation plan right here, there are loudspeakers on the square, so if a tidal wave comes somewhere or so you will be alerted in good time and then you don’t just have 5 to 10 minutes or so but just like, hey, pack up now and then drive to higher altitudes, so it’s easy and the place is right on the river, but the embankment is also 2 2.50 m higher than the river level, so in that sense it’s not a big deal So everything is flooded, tip toop, and in the Vadon gorge or on the Wadon gorge there are little villages and stuff like that everywhere and it’s also worth hiking or driving there, it’s just fun when you see this SA and so market square and central square and and little shops around it, which is what I enjoy most here and that’s why you really chose the river the river yes the river too but the place m it’s just so wonderful to open the door in the morning beautiful in the morning everything from the sun is just so fantastic The world is so beautiful, you can stand here for hours, but breakfast RFT is so beautiful, it’s really living in nature, no stromas, no house, really nice, nothing just a vulture every now and then, so I think it’s perfect for relaxation right now In late summer it was simply a dream. I really did a lot of research beforehand, including the place and the way it was presented on the internet, the photos and so on, it wasn’t somehow made out of certain things Angle son I seem cool place below you can find all the information there and also a blog article and I ‘ve been getting so many messages from you on Instagram lately about how we find places like that and we’ll be making another video about it soon If you want to know that too, then it’s worth tuning in again now because we’ve put so much effort down, we’ve worked a lot away this summer, which is why we weren’t on the road and now videos are coming back regularly, yes, I promise, I’ll be waiting for the vultures up there J Oh, there are now up there, I’ll just get it, I’ll just show you with my cell phone, but you can also go on a hike where you can actually see them relatively close up. We have n’t done that now, but I think that’s also very Impressive if you’re into something like that then it’s just nice when you see them flying like that and circling like that and stuff like that. I can imagine that if we come here again, definitely here again then I want to hike, so man, I’ve got it I’ve just told you about it then you can just do we went on a short hike to the viewpoint because I wanted to say something else, take sturdy shoes with you, I ‘m so you’ve probably already seen that by now if otherwise we’ll mess it up here it goes because there The stones are the ones that stop the current, how you can walk over stones with bare feet, it doesn’t close to me yet, I hope I’ll learn that, I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes here for three months now, let’s see if it improves, I can If I go into a pebble river, a river with pebbles, then I’m wearing sandals, so it’s not possible without them. Jules can, yes, I can walk on stone, I’m super super sensitive. Please write in the comments if you’re sensitive too I always feel so alone with yes, if you want to know about me or want to tickle me, it doesn’t take Z seconds s I take you exactly what you want, so you don’t even have to do it like that, you can actually torture me better Barefoot shoes for a few months now and then we just went on a little hike Marus to train our feet, posture and so on, very good hike but spontaneous because we saw that you can hike there, cool, we’ll do that and I thought I’ve had hiking boots for two and a half months now, I had on really cool hiking boots so it worked great but Markus just slipped everywhere and so if you want to hike 400 I know you wouldn’t have been able to do it in half an hour and then I was there for an hour On the way, really good shoes, sturdy shoes definitely make sense, no flip-flops, because it’s really difficult to get up there, but you’ll be really rewarded by the view because all the stones are of course just a gorge and the river has eaten its way into it Just passages where there are a lot of big stones, big stones, they’re just like you said, they’re very, very slippery, sturdy shoes are very helpful, but it’s also possible with bare feet, it’s also possible with bare feet, yes, we almost forgot about that, so price We now pay for the river place in the off-season. The river places are €2-3 more expensive than the other places, so as I said, you can also check on the website. We now pay €28 per night pay around 30 but I think 30 is quite okay, especially when you look at how much camping costs now Germany Switzerland Austria and so on. I think it’s priced for the place so it’s worth the price and you can do that and it feels like that here In the corner where we ‘re standing here, it’s already a little bit forward, so it’s also got a bit of freedom, just a little bit. Yes, we’re going to continue on Sunday. We’ve decided we’re going to drive a little further south because we We want to get a little bit of summer and we just saw that it’s 24° in a place in Provence, so we definitely want to go there and if necessary we go back to the Mediterranean coast, of course we’ll take it with us Also with the question now do you also have great tips do you also like traveling in France do you have tips here especially maybe on the Gorge duverdon not georverdon Gor duverdon or somewhere else within Provence or just on the completely other side in Britain or somewhere else Yes, and feel free to write a contract, you’re chlorinated water, that’ll really tell me, you use toilet paper, you’re so ticklish, yes, questions about questions, feel free to write them in the comments. We’re always looking forward to exchanging ideas with you As always, I really liked a thumbs up there or a subscription, as always we would be very happy about it and I would say see you next time CIA or two stupid thoughts yes honestly now but switch off you are still there that was So nice now I turn the camera the way it is here so you can see there is nothing for the photographers and you. I filmed this with 24 mm and now I just turn the camera like this and the river is wonderful now I need another stone and then you can see wow so we’re standing right next to the river proof has been given and now switch off bonyage see you on the way we’re happy Ciao or bonsire bon journe just [music]
