We’ve been here less than an hour and already police have confiscated four bikes. They suspect all of them have been illegally modified and they think one of them can do more than 40 m an hour. I think it’s really gross. Some arrested are suspected of entering the country illegally. Immigration officers are here as part of a nationwide operation which has seen more than 7,000 arrests in the last year, a 50% increase.
