Completed my first bike packing trip earlier this summer. We wanted to do something local and not too intense, so we rode the Cannonball 300 in Ontario. We left from home and camped for two nights along the way. The days were longer than expected, it got cold (down to 4°C), and it rained for most of the first day.
Absolutely loved it—and discovered some amazing places we had no idea existed right under our noses. Already planning something bigger for next year.
Next time, definitely packing lighter…
