I lucked into a free (yes free!) '82 Masi Gran Corsa on Facebook marketplace A month or two ago. Ive been gathering parts and this weekend I finally had the time to tear her down to bare frame, regrease all the bearings, install some fresh wear parts and give things a freshening up. She's now teady for a good shake down ride.
Based on the serial number, this was a 1982 model. It has an Italian bb and Columbus 'masi servizio course' tube set. Frame building is solid; the factory paint job on the other hand is comically bad. nut hey, price was right and it's a Masi.
