I knew you didn't crash and I was still biting my nails all the way through! 🤣 Amazing video.
Thumbs up and comment within a few minutes of posting, even though the slight clip in the intro/outro music is still annoying me
The rice sandwich was next level.
Props to you, that was some very technical riding.
Amazing to see your MTB skills coming along nicely! Smashing the quality content as always Maddy!
Well done to you and Tom. Also enjoyed Drew's post stage videos with the four of you. Looking forward to your next adventure.
You improved a lot day by day.
With all the skills you are learning I look forward to see you in the upcoming cyclocross season 😉
That looked incredibly hard, you did phenomenal. Definitely an adventure type event.
Maddy the mountain biker, cool.
Great job! Beautiful scenery!
At the end of the season, it would be fun, to know miles traveled, this year. It has to be a bunch.
Something special to race Iceland. I liked tom as your partner, he helped you out as a real gentleman 😉
The two friendly ‘merican rednecks’ are so polite, I like them both too
Huge fun to watch you learn new skills, even if they’re a bit scary.
That looked proper tough and beautiful, congrats on the podium finish 🙂
Well done Tom .Maddy you were brilliant .Great improvements each day great video .Thanks guys
Roadie at heart, gravelling most of the time these days. MTBing remains the most fun I've had riding a bike, hands down. Stick with it, it's rewarding!
After your run of bad luck lately this was a great race outside of your comfort zone! (And if you haven't already, spent some pounds on a better mic or use "AI" to filter out the wind noise – it detracts from the great action)
Hard to peel your boiled eggs? That means they're really fresh. Older eggs peel easy.
Great video Maddy! You did great!
28:47 Curious what the difference is between pushing a teammate uphill and Tom having to consistently help you pick your bike up during every stage, as well as running with both bikes at one point. Y'all did good together, just think it was an unfair jab when we saw how much Tom helped you.
Looked like you had fun. You picked a great teammate
Maddy, we MTBers call that improvement "progression", and its a great thing.
Another great Maddy's video ! Really want to go to Iceland.
About the video, the narrative part is maybe at little too low in volume compare to the racing bits, so when you turn up the volume to ear what you say, then the bike sound i way louder 😅
So Good Maddy! Loved the race recap with our KY homie Dizzle Dillman too! Way to SMASH it!
Bloody hell that is not a cross country MTB race! That was an adventure race. I guess on the upside Maddy that a real cross country race will be a breeze. That last race was more an enduro race too. You can gain confidence in this style of racing Maddy. Great video and Tom was a good sport and great team mate for that event. Hope you are well and the cut on the lip continues to heal.
That looks absolutely gorgeous and fun*!
*Well, at least the most rewarding kind of fun. Type II fun. Is there any other kind of fun? ;-):
I enjoy watching the video.
wow! podium'd your category.. looked like some super technical stuff.. great team work.. thanks for the video
Well done y'all! I'm glad to see the cinnamon roll addiction is still alive
What an adventure! Over 5 days as well, that's just nuts. Congrats to both of you, you are a pair of legends and that pace on the gravel was insane. Your race form is really looking strong, you must be so fit now. I'm in awe! It was great to watch you progressing and learning and refining your skills: you are definitely improving and not letting the fear get in the way of a good time, nor throwing caution to the wind and wrecking everything. Good smart racing. It's a shame the camera flattens everything though, Iceland is not a flat place. But good on you for pushing on, and it was fun to see you working with Tom as you're usually pretty independent, so well done on the team thing too. I wanted to visit Iceland for the ponies and the elves and the volcanoes, but now I want cinnamon rolls as well.
Well done – looked properly tough – was expecting @joshibbett to appear with all the hike-a-bike.
Maddy "Cinnamon Roll" Nutt. Great riding Maddy. With more practice on the Mtn Bike you will be destroying races like this.
well done. hope you enjoyed our unpredictable weather and terrain at least somewhat. sorry about the price of everything
You make me nervous. 😊
