It was another day, where the weather-gods were on our side, as the heavens opened whilst we were in Sainte Foy and we managed to dash under the beautiful archways of the town square, hiding out of the cloudburst, until it had passed …

The storms are all around us this evening, but we hope they will pass. Enough for us to enjoy a ‘pannier-free’ ride tomorrow, before heading on again and hopefully having a last night in the tent, before we reach Bordeaux
