  1. I hate to hear that Alex Alanko is Swede, while being totally ethnic Finn. As much Swede as the population living in the Stockholm ghettos.

  2. Shoutout and props for trying this completly new format. Seeing MTB event coverage/broadcasts done by other media companys than Redbull really makes me appreciate and respect how good Redbull is at putting together these events and the media coverage 🙌

  3. Interesting format but the course is horrible as it’s just who can pedal the entire time and still have energy to do tricks and then you don’t show half the contest? I’m so confused.

  4. Really cool event! Props to RB for doing something new. I see a lot of potential with this going forward so I really hope they continue with this format. I do have concerns. Firstly the Slopestyle portion of the course was pretty lackluster and did not look spectacular or fun for the riders. A larger decline may be needed for trick jumps and if the goal is to get both the racers and tricks on the same set of jumps for spectators than maybe there could be a and b lines with different kickers for squashing or tricking? And lastly and most importantly nothing is worse for viewers than finding out we’ve missed half the event and there is no way to watch it. PLEASE air all judged runs by the slope athletes. Thank you again Red Bull on another badass event.
PS. Please bring back District Ride.

  5. I like it; to team up these two so different disciplines together is a good show…..a partner in a team might put some pressure, but for sure it's also a good tap on the shoulder as encouragement. Sion and it castle is a amazing place for that show.

  6. This is a great concept, especially when seeing how many people don't know riders across disciplines, amazing to see Downhill and Slopestyle's spirit animals in Rob and Nik in the box.

Hopefully we see more of this in the future!
