Is this one of England’s most remote stations?

It is Friday 4th July 2025 and I’m visiting a station near Stockport and Hazel Grove on the line to Buxton which isn’t accesible by car. The only way to reach the stop is on foot or by bike.

As well as a nice tree-lined two-platform station, with a less frequent service than it’s neighbours, there is lovely surprise on the bridge above Middlewood which crosses the tracks and platforms. Watch the video to find out what it is!
