The Dublin Port Tolka Estuary Greenway, a purpose-built path for cyclists and pedestrians, runs along the Port’s northern edge, offering stunning views of the Tolka Estuary. The first section of the Greenway stretches from the Port’s boundary with Eastpoint Business Park to the Irish Ferries and Stena Line terminals. It was delivered in 2024 by the Dublin Port Heritage & Special Projects and Capital Projects teams.
The second section, which will be completed in 2026, will bring the route to the most Eastern point of Dublin Port overlooking a brand new 800-metre linear park.
At the end of the greenway we go across to the Irish Ferries terminal in time to see the MS James Joyce complete a 360° turn and head off down the River Liffey on its way to Holyhead in Wales.
